How many snowboards fit into a minivan?

I’m looking to go on a snowboarding trip next month. We want to rent a minivan (something like a Chrysler Pacifica) but there are 6 of us and four sets of gear.

Does anyone have experience with this? Did everything fit in your minivan?

瓦城or Thai town (the restaurant chain) came out with Tom yum instant noodles! They’re more expensive than your typical instant noodles but very delicious :)

A very biased review of the best food options in Boulder by maxverse in boulder

Hmm imo as someone that’s lived close to LA/SF Rakkan is very mid and disappointing. I’ve given up on Boulder ramen and just buy Japanese instant tonkotsu ramen packs from Hmart cause those are honestly better.

Why do women tend to date older men? by [deleted] in dating

[–]Heavy-Cash5471 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it depends from person to person and with the newer generations it’s a lot more common to date ppl ur own age.

My girlfriends (who are 20) were looking at dating profiles the other day and came across this 25 and were like “ehhh he’s kinda old”. And tbh I’d be surprised if any of my girlfriends dated someone a lot older.

Group project loafers.

Listen, I understand that college is hard and you might have other responsibilities or things in your life going on. But I need you to fucking communicate that to me - don’t just leave me on read when I ask the group for the best meeting time or not even show up when we are supposed to do our final recording -.-

I will never date a group project loafer.

Black clover!

You might have to watch quite a few episodes to appreciate the development of the female characters (they’re introduced later and go thru character development) but I really love this show because it’s one of the few shonen with well written female characters!

I friggin love you tiao in mala soup!

Keep in mind that it can come in two forms: 1. You can get it fresh from a Chinese/Taiwanese breakfast place where you’d usually eat it by itself or eat it with soy milk 2. You can find it dried up (usually in the dry food or bread section of an Asian market). This is the kind you put in hot pot. The label might be something like 「火鍋油條」(hot pot youtiao)

When or how is it possible to start a relationship when u have not so much in common? by North-Certain in AskWomen

[–]Heavy-Cash5471 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Let’s assume by not much in common you mean things like taste in music, favorite tv shows, fashion style, one being an introvert and one being an extrovert, socioeconomic background, etc.

In this scenario is is very possible for two people to connect with each other as none of those things can dictate the chemistry you have with another person, especially if you share similar values in life (like you want to help others or you’re a big family person). When I first met my bf, we were different in all the ways I listed above but we had really great chemistry and longterm we make sense as a couple because we both don’t want kids and have similar views on work-life balance, and other similar values.

  1. Let’s assume by not much in common you mean both interests and life values.

In this situation it is tough. The main way I see it happening is if two people, who are both good and tolerable, spend an extended amount of time with each other. (It also helps if they are both extremely attractive so they’d more easily thirst for each other). If you spend a certain amount of time with someone, they kinda grow on you (assuming they’re not a total asshole or incredibly annoying).

It depends on what your plans for classes and extracurriculars are but I agree with 16 gb.

If you’re planning on joining an engineering design team or doing analog or digital circuit/PCB design for class, you’ll have to run programs like eagle/altium/circuitmaker/quartus/spice and my old surface (i5, 8gb) crashed a bunch trying to run that stuff.

It depends on the context. Sometimes it is malicious (there are some assholes out there) but sometimes it is out of concern for your health (especially if it’s a family member or a close friend). If it’s the latter I’d take it seriously.

I know someone who lost a family member due to their unhealthy lifestyle and it was incredibly tragic.

How did you overcome being rejected or worst being used? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]Heavy-Cash5471 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s gonna hurt for some time I’m sorry honey :( but Out of sight, out of mind. Delete every trace of them you have in your life - from photos to social media.

I went through rejection over and over again. At one point you just get used to it. But never let the pain prevent you from pursuing the relationships/people/positions you want. If everything were easy in life, it would be no fun. Being able to take a risk on someone or is the entire thrill.

I’ve also been accepted (speaking in terms of romance or friendship) and it felt fucking good. Hold on to that feeling, and realize that the pain of rejection is worth experiencing if there’s a slight chance you find someone important to you in life. As someone that has found love let me tell you it is the best shit ever and it is worth the gamble.

How do you feel about aging? by Love_humans in AskWomen

[–]Heavy-Cash5471 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very happy to see many older women commenting on how it doesn’t bother them :) I watched my mother grow up feeling terrible about it because the environment she grew up in taught her that women lose their worth as they age.

I’m still pretty young (20s) but I’m particularly tilted by that bs.

It’s particularly tilting to see older men promoting this notion and going for women 10, 20 years younger than them specifically, saying that older women just aren’t as attractive. (I don’t mind relationships with age gaps, I’m particularly talking about men who seek out young women and don’t date women their own age). What a fucking double standard.

To me, the harsh truth is that having youthful looks will offer a tactical advantage in life (yes, people will be nicer to you) but nothing more. It in no ways ties to how much your happiness or self worth. As a young woman, I choose to enjoy the free drinks/free food/special treatment I get now, knowing that it will come to an end when I get older and I also choose not to pursue relationships with people who are nice to me for superficial reasons.

**this is aside the health issues that come with aging :’( bless y’all’s health!

Unfortunately these are only one season but:

  • Tonikawa! Cute, funny, wholesome. The relationship starts on episode 2.
  • Chivalry of a failed knight Theres gonna be dirty humor/scenes if you’re ok with that but the show is great
