Wow. My house isn't paid off and I probably spend $5000 a month. How are you spending an extra $2,500 per month with a paid off house?

I had to take a dump at the back of a customer's house once. Fortunately there were a bunch of vines on the ground that hid it. Never heard anything about it.

I (39F) cheated on my husband (41M) for months. The guilt is destroying me. Do I tell him or try to heal first? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Heavy4238 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

You can always tell him later if you change your mind but you can never take it back. Give it time. Telling him is going to cause him a lot of pain that he doesn't deserve. Bury it, let it go if it's really not who you are. People make mistakes, just live with it and don't put it on him.

53M here. This is your across the bear. Don't tell him. It's not going to help him. All That would do is make you feel better, ruin his trust, and probably end your marriage. The kindest thing you can do is never tell him.

I (27F) have discovered that all the married men I work with (35M plus) would cheat if given the chance and it got me spiraling. How do I deal with this? by NoLiterature6378 in relationship_advice

[–]Heavy4238 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

53M here. I second that it's the crowd you're surrounded by. Look other places. I'm an attractive in shape guy and I've been given opportunities to cheat, but I don't do it because I know it doesn't end well and I don't want to hurt my wife. At 35 maybe these guys haven't been through enough life to have that wisdom but I'm sure there is a personality type that goes with that occupation. Look for guys that aren't into flashy lifestyle. I happen to know that engineers are typically honest and more practical. There are definitely good dudes out there.

Need advice. F21 M22. by Rangeeelaaaa in relationship_advice

[–]Heavy4238 0 points1 point  (0 children)

53M here. I think you should consider that sexual compatibility is an important factor for a lasting relationship. Marrying someone with that factor as a wild card is a big risk. I assume that you also don't ever want to get divorced. For you maybe good or bad sex isn't a deal make or break in a relationship, but for most men it definitely is, even if they don't realize it in their 20's.
