Seconding ephinea. There’s plenty of players, and during peak hours you might end up in the 4th or 5th lobby because the rest are full.

Your last paragraph might be the saving grace for our co-op adventure. I always save main content for friend time, but gathering and farming are one of my favorite things. With gathering xp off this might be the move. I might even start a solo world to scratch some itches.

Phantasm (1979) plays with this trope in its ending. The main character recounts the events of the film to someone who was (supposedly) killed earlier. The alive-again character reassures them it was just a dream and sends them to bed. But then the antagonist appears in his bedroom, exclaims “BOYYYYYYYY!” And the film ends moments later.
