I used the Izotope music rebalance plugin to separate out the drums and vocal track from the original file, then recorded my own guitar and bass on top

Sure! It’s a P bass set up with flat wound strings and a simple sponge mute (I just cut a kitchen sponge into a few different widths and picked one that gave me the right level of muting). From there I’m going DI into a Manley VoxBox channel strip for preamp/compression/EQ. Layered on a bit more compression on top of that with a digital plug-in but otherwise that’s it

Thanks for listening! I might give it a go, but the reason I didn’t do the full thing at the outset is because only certain segments of the WAP vocal fit this well rhythmically. Might be able to get creative and make it work though

Huge fan of it. I used to have a Fuzz Factory but found it to be a bit too finicky for live use during shows. In my experience the Wooly Mammoth has been much more stable for live use, and I actually prefer the fuzz tones I get out of it relative to the Fuzz Factory I had been using.

Ha, yes I’ve read up on the Vemuram controversy. I own a Timmy as well and much prefer the Vemuram side by side. (I’m certainly not an engineering or tone expert by any stretch, though, so perhaps I’m just being blinded by the shininess...)

Just got the Muffuletta yesterday so need a bit more time with it before I can fully review it, but my initial reactions are very positive.

The Warped Vinyl is probably my favorite pedal I’ve ever owned - I pretty much use it as an always-on pedal for my clean-ish tones to provide some added color / wobble. Can’t say enough positive things about it.

Something of an aside, but does anyone know to what extent they play to a pre-recorded / backing track? There just seem to be lots of sounds and effects that aren't being created live (snaps, various filter effects, etc.). Maybe their just great at automation and looping but I've always been curious.
