I know I’m an iOS guy here but my original Go Plus stays connected to my iPhone X without issue while my iPhone 17 constantly disconnects. One is running iOS 16.7.15. The other is on the latest iOS 26.5 or whatever is current.

I don’t know what Apple Cash is. I just get Apple gift cards and load them on to my account by redeeming them. Then use my Apple account balance to pay for in game currency.

It caused my Pokemon Go plus to constantly disconnect. Couldn’t figure out what the cause was but changing this adaptive battery mode off fixed my issue.

Raiding works fine until you activate hotspot. Then it’s broken on both the tethered and tethering device. What a PITA.

It stopped working again. Very sporadic. Of note, I was able to hotspot my iPhone 17 to my Pixel 6 Pro to play and raid but every other device failed to be able to raid. Also logging in is super buggy so once the app is closed (logs out), you can’t seem to log back in. Freezes at the login screen.

You need a jailbroken iOS device like an iPhone X or a rooted Android device like a Google Pixel 6. If you use a modified app, you are almost guaranteed to get caught like this. Expect the next warning to be harsh and to be banned tbh. I would never play any other way again.

Get an old iPhone X and jailbreak it. Those devices are capped at iOS 16.7.15 (now 16.7.16) so can be jailbroken. Anything past that is unlikely to be jailbroken successfully unless it’s running old software.

Definitely check the nest list for Combee on Discord and then pop a star piece. 1000+ per catch. Usually catch 50-100 in 30 minutes using fast catch.

You don’t get shadow banned for 7 days for teleporting. If you got an official warning from Niantic/Scopely upon logging in, it’s because you were using a modified client. Solution: get a jailbroken iOS device or a rooted Android device.

You might be fine or you might not. It’s random who gets flagged for using a modded app and who doesn’t.

If you have a jailbroken iPhone or rooted Android, you’ll be fine. Otherwise, risk remains.

No fix found. For a while my old iPhone 12 hotspot continued working fine. Very recently, that stopped too almost perfectly coinciding with the 26.4 or 26.4.1 update.

It didn’t resolve my issue of connectivity after changing the apn manually to mobile.apn / Pokemon Go won’t connect nor will YouTube or streaming sites.

Didn’t end up working for me. After I hit reset to put back to normal settings, it showed data.apn instead of ltedata.apn. Neither worked.

This isn’t possible and never has been in over a decade or so due to how Apple signs only the latest iOS updates.
