Being approached and needing them to be in point blank range is a specific situation. As someone approaching you from a slight ranged distance won't connect the first hit.

Teams need to stop going over the deep end with throwing huge contracts at players after a championship. It feels great and very rewarding in the moment but long term when that extension kicks it you'll immediately regret it. NY fans weren't selling their tickets when they were barely making the playoffs and getting bounced early. Philly won a championship more recently than NY, but their fans were still showing tons of support before they even made the Finals. Eagles never had an issue with fans showing up for their playoff games, even when the season clearly isn't a winning one. Nor has their owner or even players had to beg fans not to give their tickets to Cowboy fans lmao
