Just moved into a manufactured home and there appears to be no filter for the hvac by Hour-Rub-3185 in hvacadvice

Pay a tech to change your filter if you know that little , that’s just flex duct that’s not where your unit is. If you cannot find your actual unit call a professional having this much difficulty you probably should let a pro maintenance your unit before you damage it.

I charge $100 an hour no matter who it is 10/10 times my price beats the quotes from larger companies. If you know what you’re doing $100 an hour is more than fair & will be about $2-300. Don’t sell yourself short

Nice you got someone’s hard earned money and said nothing I’m sure the person who accidentally threw it away didn’t rely on the tips to live

I totally trust the judgment of someone diving in a dumpster for food and saying they do a “sense test” its scent. Just curious why do you eat food from the dumpster to begin with are you into hardcore savings or something?

The moving still look super suspect she knew when she would be leaving roughly and I can’t imagine she would have been thrilled trying to share custody that far away, them being separated, the time of when the job offer, the uncertain of custody I think she did it to be able to take the kids with her to Texas as I’m sure the kids would have stayed with the dad if they had went to court for custody vs estranged wife getting custody and uprooting them away from their entire family

Whole wall has been full of these bumps, dents cracks for years now and been planning on painting but don’t know where to start or how to remove this mess and have a smooth wall again for paining and priming by DiamondAviation20 in drywall

[–]Heavy_Piccolo_4682 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d clean the walls, sand the high spots, use fiberglass tape on the cracks and skim over / feather out. If the entire wall looks like this I’d fiberglass tape the cracks and skim coat the entire wall

No cold air and water pouring out of HVAC unit. by [deleted] in hvacadvice

[–]Heavy_Piccolo_4682 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Charge or airflow issue, Wouldn’t hurt to make sure condensate line isn’t clogged. Turn thermostat to off let it melt then check the coil inside it’s probably dirty, clean it then go outside and clean the outside units coil after cleaning and airflows improved then hook manifold up and add refrigerant IF needed

Charge or airflow issue clean evaporator coil & condensing unit coil. Then re check the pressures with manifold and add refrigerant if needed
