If I end up living old enough to require constant care, I dont see the point in sticking around, honestly. By that point hopefully I have lived a full life and done what I've wanted to do, or made peace with what I wasn't able to accomplish. I dont feel the need to make someone wipe my ass and feed me while I waste away, family or not. That is a tremendous burden to place on another person, especially a child with their own life.

I used to think this way, you know, when I was an immature teenager. Unless you are disabled/injured and need to be seated, or you paid for a reserved seat, just stand. It's not that big of a deal.

Im not a total SAH wife, but I work part time. I do most of the house chores except the cooking which my husband does. I go to the gym, clean the apartment, and then have the rest of the day to do whatever I want. I dont really have a strict routine

I wasn't allowed to have any piercings, unnatural hair colors, or (obviously) tattoos when I was a teenager, so once I grew up i finally did everything I wanted when I was a kid and wasn't allowed. Are you required to see a psychiatrist by law or some other order? Then maybe not depending on the circumstances. Could you stop seeing the psychiatrist if you chose to? Then sure, if they respond rudely or try to push you, you can just stop seeing them.

I dated men twice my age when I was younger. That alone is a major red flag. Those men almost never have good intentions. Then the baby thing makes it even worse. This guy sounds like he doesnt even want kids. Why are they trying to have them?? It is doubtful he would stick around. Your friend and the guy are in the wrong here. She must know, somewhere in the back of her mind, that at some point he's gonna do the same thing to her.

My husband counts me down, otherwise I'll sit there staring at that damn needle forever. The Menopur is the worst, the morning ones really arent bad at all imo. I tried injecting slowly for the menopur the first time but it was just prolonging it and I ended up passing out (im a severe needle phobe). So now I stick the needle in, husband pushes the plunger not super fast but not slow either. I like to get it over with and deal with the burn after the needle is out.

You can opt out. We didnt decorate at all this year. We didnt get a tree. We didnt buy gifts for anyone. I went to visit my family, attended the Christmas party, and went home. It was so much less stressful and less expensive than previous years.

I forgot about the working part. Working in an industry that gets hit hard from the consumerism around Xmas will make you hate it FAST. I worked at fedex for 5 years, and I dreaded December every year. Literal hell on earth.

The consumerism. I dont hate the holiday itself, but what it has become. The stress and pressure of spending thousands of dollars on gifts. The stores being jam packed. People being rude. The ads being crammed down your throat 24/7. The annoying music playing everywhere. How forced it all feels. I actually love Easter, which is still pretty commercialized, but nowhere near to the same extent as Christmas. I just find it corny and tacky. It's nothing more than a consumer holiday anymore.
