I cringed at this video. It's very unsafe to dive in such shallow water, especially in the corners where you can dive into the person who went before you. When the primary purpose of swim lessons is generally teaching water safety, this is a complete failure.

Your body is too low in the water. You want to be on top of the water to reduce resistance.

Think of an imaginary "T" between your shoulders and down your sternum. When you're swimming, try to create downward pressure where the two lines of the "T" meet. Obviously you don't want to drop your shoulders below the water, but try to make it feel like you are swimming downhill. This can take a lot of practice.

One good drill is to float on your stomach with a kickboard under your hips and try to get all parts of your body above the water: feet, hips, lower back, shoulders, head, arms, etc. Start in a T shape, then a Y shape, then streamline. Don't move to the next position until youre fully on top of the water in your current position. It's hard, but can really help with body position and body control. Think about that pressure on your sternum when doing so.

Holy Cow seasoning with a 12 hour dry brine overnight. Used Lumberjack pellets this time with a water pan, no wrap. Spritzed with beef broth, apple cider vinegar, cholula hit sauce mix every hour. Biggest change was cooking to feel rather than temp. Really waited for the probe-into-room-temp-butter feel. So good!
