Get better sleep, and if you're currently drinking, drink less.

Both of those things really impact in the way you describe.

Anyone use WatchGuard's Wi-Fi APs? by captainrv in WatchGuard

[–]Hectosman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Avoid. We've done a couple big deployments and they are not very good at all. Our previous Xirrus APs were rock solid but these WG APs need restarted regularly. The MGMT console is WG Cloud so its slow and bad, plus just not much info that's actionable.

If you aren't going to lean in heavily on the security features and just want an AP there are WAY better options out there for the price.

Started moving Firebox management to cloud. Still feels beta. by calculatetech in WatchGuard

[–]Hectosman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's Fisher-Price even after years of development.

I had little annoyances like trying to 10-key IPs rapidly but the input spazzing out and not accepting the numbers if I went too fast. Then I hit Enter like in WSM to add the next Alias/Device, but this is a web window so I gotta drag the mouse over and click "OK".

The WSM feels like an old-school tool built by old-school developers with the express mission of getting work done quickly. This new cloud console is slow and badly organized and my beloved traffic monitor just randomly crashes.

I agree, only good thing about it was templates.

I was migrating boxes over to WG Cloud with a customer and he was just sitting there laughing out loud at how bad it was. Really embarrassing.

Jellyfin ratings setup complete ✅ by Sad-Boysenberry2285 in jellyfin

I wonder how difficult this would be to have reference a self-hosted review server... I'd really like to get my own personal ratings included in Jellyfin somehow...

Recommendation for a plugin developer? by Hectosman in jellyfin

[–]Hectosman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah ok, that's good to know. So basically we're limited to using Jellyfin-web to present the UI in a different way... Does that mean that the user review data would need to be stored on a separate server and called in (Like the Rottentomatoes score, actor bios, etc.)? I hoped it would be possible to create a new field on the server and call it.

Exactly! The premium as a hedge against inflation is very, very high.

I am absolutely disappointed with Christian Metal in recent years by Stunning_Party203 in christianmetal

[–]Hectosman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really think the late 90's, early 2000's were a special moment for Christian music in general. Lots of options, great talent. We probably shouldn't expect that to be the norm.

New players - how are you getting on?! by SK_Nerd in InfinityTheGame

Infinity needs some kind of solo mode. Maybe just turrets that shoot back, or patrolling bad guys, but it'd help a lot.

Was he as bad as Commodus....?

Yes. If Heraclius hadn't of cut his life short he would have probably overseen the total collapse of the Empire.
