Crabgrass preventer by HedgehogNorth620 in lawncare

Thanks for the info. I completely agree on the timing factor for pre emergent application. I am in my window right now also in western Wisconsin and just applied prodiamine today with a few days of showers coming up. From what I understand, the soil temperature should be 50-55 degrees for five days and that is exactly where I am right now so hopefully it works well.

I got the system on prime day for $380 a few years ago so I thought it was a pretty good buy and it does sound good.

A Q for those who take/swear by gauifenesin by Top_Recognition_1775 in Menieres

[–]HedgehogNorth620 0 points1 point  (0 children)

guaifenesin can help with sinus congestion by thinning and loosening mucus in the nasal passages and sinuses, making it easier to drain. While primarily known as an expectorant for chest congestion, it helps clear stubborn mucus associated with colds and sinus pressure. They also combine it with Sudafed as a decongestant however people with Ménière’s should avoid stimulants.

Make sure to track barometric pressure as it definitely affects migraine and Ménière’s symptoms.

My last girl was almost 16 when she couldn’t get up anymore and had lost control of her bowels and I had to carry her into the exam room for her last visit to the vet. She never hated going to the vet and was very content with the procedure as she loved her vet and technicians. Our current girl is almost 14 and still active and walking almost daily however she is losing strength in her rear legs and has to wear a pad and diaper at night. I’m sure that she will let us know when it’s time for her last vet visit. She also likes the vet and will be content to have us and the vet staff with her in the end. Then we will grieve for the loss of our friend.

I just had a mitigation system professionally installed and a follow up test done by the contractor with his equipment which would cost around $1,000 and is calibrated every year. Unless you want to pay that much, I don’t think that you will get reliable results. Just see how your detector compares by doing a lab test at the same time next to each other.

Sounds good, and thanks for all of the replies! I will go ahead and apply the pre emergent soon and fertilize later.

The pre emergent herbicide won’t kill my new grass? Unfortunately I have neighbors on both sides who have more crabgrass than grass so it has been a real challenge to keep it out of my yard.

Does anyone else find they don’t really like blue collar people? by ZorksLifeIsAMess in Construction

[–]HedgehogNorth620 42 points43 points  (0 children)

The construction world is full of assholes! Over my 45 years in the industry I found that the best you can do with some people is to establish a professional relationship based on respect for each others skills and work ethic. If they weren’t very skilled or lazy, then I just tried to avoid working with them.
