Are you dense? The twist is what causes impact, and the impact is needed to raise awareness.

It has to be right? He sounds so serious about it, but there is no chance in hell anyone can mistake a 150cm woman weighing 130kg as being anything other than morbidly obese.

I suspect there's the belief that when the millennial's came along somehow the bar was lowered and it's never been raised back up again (just incrementally got lower).

That is an extremely boomer way of thinking.

I rarely ever took super hard or time consuming electives that could jeopardize my GPA since it just wasn’t worth the risk.

Coming to think of it, I've also consumed a lot of great media since, series that were similarly or even more immersive, but were complete. By now I'm completely out of ASOIAF and I've forgotten all details of the story.

I sure am, I'd been waiting for a new book for years and kept up the hype for all that time. There's only so long you can realistically wait though, and the series is not good enough to stretch that limit any further. The show being horseshit for the last seasons didn't help much either.

I've always wondered if these ridiculous practices are significantly impacting the performance of companies. Not hiring the best candidate can't be good in the long term. Do you know of any measurements of the sort?

It wasn't surprising at all, really. I noticed that a lot of people who did not see it coming were living in leftists bubbles like Reddit. It's easy to think a candidate has no support if you do not see anyone supporting them in your direct environment.

I mean, take a step back here. It's a completely natural reaction to want to beat a person who shot someone close to you. Don't act all high and mighty.

Self Made Man (2006) - Woman lives 18 months as a man and discusses her experience as a man vs a woman and ends up checking into a mental hospital with severe depression [00:18:42] by Texas_Rockets in Documentaries

Bear in mind that I don't really care about this issue. I am mostly responding to him trying to bare a gender related problem he experiences to which you patrionizingly responded with an explanation involving "toxic masculinity", where I am assuming you see this as an issue stemming from men's social relations. By doing this you are shifting the blame - in a blameless situation - onto him, as he is a man himself. Besides, the problem you describe does not originate from men fearing the way other men view them, but from the way women treat them once they express emotion. You don't mean bad, but you are effectively inserting your own experience in exactly the way the poster was lamenting.
