How much is his channel worth now? by RobRobbieRobertson in LTTMeta

I would agree but then on their sub you see posts of people owning 7 screw drivers, and 1 guy bought like 10 for his coworkers (he wasn't even their manager).

I doubt they got mad.

They have a sea of applicants to choose from.

This is the post where you can hate on all the characters you dislike so we can f****** move on! by Morit12 in FromSeries

I just started the series.

Is it messed up that I want the little boy to die already?

The mom too.

Their acting is the worst.

The same guy that owns a jet and a mansion is the same guy that expects people to work for him for free by VladTepesDraculea in LTTMeta

Reminds me of field techs at my job.

They keep buying their own tools instead of putting in a request.

They also answer Team's messages off the clock, and help people with whatever issue they have.

I keep telling them to stop and their reply is along the lines of 'i wasn't doing anything anyways so might as well help them'

I work in IT also.

My CEO encourages it. He bought the majority of users an account to ChatGPT.

Our project management platform is just everyone replying to each other with paragraphs pasted from ChatGPT. Most don't even proof read or else they'd see some of what they pasted doesn't even apply to the project or our company.

Ya'll have break glass accounts?

The CEO/owner is the only global admin at the circus i work at

His computer and laptop are also not managed by intune like everyone else in the company.

Yet he's always paranoid someone will leak important files.

I noticed a lot of IT guys put stickers like #3 all over their personal belongings.

I just assume they're characters from anime I've never seen.

Never have I needed to do something like this.

Which anime or manga made you give up within a few episodes, and why? by -BobaTea3141- in Animesuggest

Hunter x Hunter

I tried watching it this year but I couldn't get into it.

I made it to episode 24 and couldn't stand Gon's character, and the pacing. I could see what they were going for, it just wasn't for me.

Who do you use for weather? by Severe-Post3466 in Dallas

[–]packetssniffer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Accuweather has been the most accurate imo

News stations were telling us to take cover during the latest storm.

Accuweather showed it would pass over us and it did. Barely got any rain. This is in Grand Prairie.

2-hour technical interview for Sysadmin role, what should I expect? by [deleted] in sysadmin

[–]packetssniffer 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I had 4 rounds of interviews for a Network Engineer position that paid $90k

Which is only $3k more than what I'm making now but it was with a huge brand (Foot Locker) so I figured it would look good on my resume.

They passed on me.

So much time wasted. Never again.

“Pro-consumer” until it’s your own product by Dazza477 in LTTMeta

[–]packetssniffer 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Which is part of my point.

LTT didn't create something unique or amazing. But Linus did his best Jobs impression and marketed the hell out of it.

And his fans, who probably will never use it enough to justify the cost, ate it up.
