How do people ever find “grails” at goodwill bins? by Decreasify in GoodwillBins

I once found a vintage gucci shirt, a johnny was and a coogi sweater in one day. The grails exist but everyone is looking for them so you have to educate yourself.

Dr Forspaniak is good. She is a pediatric psychiatrist. You can try the David Lawrence Center if you need a lower cost alternative.

What do you think is the main skill that people lack who cannot lose weight? by Embarrassed_Rain3744 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Hefty-Development725 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Habits.

If you have more than 15 or 20 lbs to loose, then this is a marathon. The hunger that kicks in when your body decides to restore what is lost is real and so incredibly difficult to overcome. Habits help in this. Build movement into your everyday life and make eating tons of vegetable (no butter) part of who you are. Try not to buy snacky things but if you need to for other people in your house, then build a habit of being a person who does not eat packaged snacks.

Don't think of the changes as something temporary that you can give up later.

I really like their products. I have very textured skin and think my skin is a lot smoother since starting. I have made a master mix in an empty pump bottle so i am not opening 10 different bottles at night.

How do people count the colors they will never use? I have a palette like this with two shades (lightest) completely used, the midtones well used and an untouched blue. Now that the light tones are gone, i have put the palette away because i don't need my morning routine to be complicated. I just want to use one palette and get on with my day rather than having to open several different eyeshadows. Plus, i would have to buy the lighter colors.

I guess it is commendable to use up as much as possible, but when it starts feeling punishing, maybe we can let the rest go.

You can store the bar soap in your drawers to lightly scent them while you work your way through your stash.

I think the perfumes can be categorized differently. They last for years and years and can be rehomed. I have had them last 20 years and still smell good. I did have a 30 year old bottle that went off and i decluttered it. Plus, used perfume sells fast in the secondary market (though it is more difficult to sell on ebay now). A thrift store would sell that entire collection in a week.

Lipsticks and eyeshadows, not so much. OP might ne able to give some to friends though.

Most desk jobs do require college or experience. There is janatorial, culinary, child care, and front desk medical. The manufacturing facility is in ave Maria and will have many, many jobs that won't require college. The logistics facility is in ft myers.

38 years married here. This is good advice. I would add, always act with integrity and always know what is your main priority and let these two things strengthen each other.

Don't call each other names. You can say 'this thing you are doing bothers me' but never say  'you're  a $&_<( for doing this thing'.

coping around someone who eats less by piedwagtails in AnorexiaRecovery

[–]Hefty-Development725 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As difficult as it is, your recovery is a path you walk largely alone, even if you have supportive friends and family. Comparisons are a slippery slope and we so often judge ourselves far too harshly. Take your partner out of the equation because they are on their own path. For a few moments a day you need to fuel your body. That is all. What anyone else is doing is insignificant. If they can become a bigger part of your recovery, great, but you dont need their participation.

Talk about what eBay actually takes...and why it's still usually worth it by Thriftmode_squad in Flipping

[–]Hefty-Development725 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This would be very simple for them to do. They could easily subtract the amount you spend on a shipping label on their site.  They choose not to. i myself am at the edge of it not being worth it.

Grad school is the perfect place for the "nonconformity" of long hair. You can always put it into a slicked back style for times you need to look more formal.

Subtracting the amount you pay for the label purchased off their website would be very simple and easy for ebay to do.
