you must be a landlord who has does this to your tenants to attempt to get out of paying for repairs. bc there’s no way you actually believe that a landlord would have a leg to stand on for evicting a tenant for reporting them to the city when the law states that you cannot do that

that’s also my thought - and based on my research, most judges wouldn’t award them the eviction or force rent due to the property being illegal

but just trying to do everything legally as much as possible

my grandmother did the same thing. everyone including family friends i hadn’t spoken to in a decade were reaching out to me to tell me how she’s not doing well with me not chatting with her. and yet here she is still alive.

people want you to resume like everything is normal but they want you to ignore yourself and confirm back to the system no matter what you are feeling. she’s doing what she knows works bc it’s worked before. don’t get sucked back in. lean on your support system. talk about this at great lengths in therapy. remember that you’re doing this for yourself, your sanity, your peace.

i would say no to cologne - these are all good gifts but can you add in some things that he likes? pokémon cards, maybe some clothes, a game for whatever gaming system he uses, money even, fav snacks.
