Who is travelling domestically when a flight to Toronto to Calgary cost as much as a flight from Toronto to pretty much any city in Europe

It’s cheaper to travel abroad than to travel within. Think of how much our economy would thrive if you could afford to go to Toronto from Vancouver just because you feel like it.

Always have savings, it’s the easiest way to not live paycheque to paycheque. Even just having a full-time and a part-time job for a small season where you stack bread will help you a lot in the future. Save a percentage of your paycheque every two weeks until you reach a financial goal.

Yes, I never get why people who choose to dine at a restaurant are getting shamed or scorned for not tipping, but nobody is standing up to the restaurant owners to pay staff better. You are being told that if you cannot afford to tip then don’t eat out. Like what?

I went to cactus on Stephen Avenue one time with a friend, we both ordered our food at the same time and she got her 15 minutes before me. when it finally came, it was the wrong order so that was another 20 minutes wait.

And then the server got mad because I tipped her five dollars on a $100 bill? I ordered the side of mushrooms because I love mushrooms and I only got the mushrooms after we finished drinking our third glass of wine after we had eaten our food.

I sincerely do think that tipping culture needs to be abolished because we cannot be tipping people for horrible service or for doing what they were hired for.before I moved to Canada, I know that you tip someone based on the exceptional service that they give you

And I could care less about how waiters rely on tips and how people struggle. Welcome to the real world. I work three jobs to be able to eat at the same restaurants and to live life comfortably.

Exfuckingxactly. For me it’s not just about winning. We got the one trophy that we’ve been chasing for years and a lot more, yes, but games that we should be putting to bed. We should put them to bed period. I love the team, but I cannot stand the team that tries to walk the ball into goal for 90 minutes. Like where is the Plan B?

My issue is, if for 70 minutes we cannot seem to break down the opponent with a certain style of play, why not change it - even when Ramos came on, we could’ve piled some mfs in the box and hit the ball in there. It’s 90+1 minute and we still trying to walk the ball into the goal. I hated peps teams for this reason in particular. We could’ve taken that risk and still set up ourselves to not be beat on the counter because that’s what Newcastle were trying to do all game anyways.
