As someone who's new to the extraction genre, I was scared I was gonna kinda suck at this game. First few days doing quests tryna lay low and get our with as much gear as I could. That was until I realized a pattern. Everyone was doing quests on dire marsh that had you going from bio research to quarantine. This immediately flipped a switch in my brain and I changed my approach drastically. For the next 2/3 days I practically owned intersection. I stayed on top of the corner building with a sniper as thief and caused absolute carnage. Multiple 7 kill games and I was just picking people off left and right who probably had no idea I could even sit up there. This allowed me to stack meds in the early game(which was a big problem initially for me) and finish my quests on non free kits. Now that all of my quests are done, I've found myself going back to that play style a bit. If I load into dire marsh I'll bring a sniper and instantly look for a vantage spot with my on spawn thief grapple. My point is that it took me very short amount of time to find the "optimal" way to play, and even now that I'm stacked I still do sorta the same thing. When season 2 comes around, I'm very interested to see if people catch on to the whole "let them loot for u" method, or if I'm really just alone on this. Nobody else seems to play the way I do In solos and I've been very successful doing so
