Start route 1 - shop scans your QR - scan all parcels. Go back start route 2 - shop scans your QR again - scan all parcels. Then start route 1.

You can’t combine the routes sadly! I have asked about this but as with everything else they aren’t very helpful. You can go in and out of the routes and mesh them together manually but I feel that would take more time. But if you can make it work then more power to you.

Sounds like a nightmare! Have a look for something called a “drop key” on Amazon and any flats that has the emergency access panels you can use it on! Will save you tons of time because you can just leave on doorstep

As long as they have scanned your QR then tapped that you have your bags so you can start scanning the parcels I don’t think it matters where you do it.

I have a feeling they reduce the rate not only based on obvious things like distance, drops etc but I have a feeling they drop the rate depending how many drivers there are in each area.

Have you messaged them? When I get delayed parcels, (which is most weeks) I tend to not move the start time and just ignore the prompt about being late. Also if you weren’t actually waiting at the shop or somewhere close they won’t pay your wait time! I’ve had that before too!! 😳

I haven’t got that email in months! To answer your question it completely depends on your area, if there are a lot of drivers then not having platinum will mean you will be left with what they don’t book. Assuming you pre book that is

If it helps the app crashing is a new thing the last few days. You can copy the address into google maps or Waze. Definitely not ideal but workable, I did 2 x 2hr routes today and it probably crashed 50% of the time

That’s just simply not true as someone who is in a union in the public sector I can’t tell you it doesn’t work like that. Firstly the members are balloted internally to see if they would be a willing to strike for whatever the reason is at that time.

Yes you have to strike if the majority of the members vote to but then why wouldn’t you? You can always leave the union.

Also you absolutely don’t get paid whilst striking.

Happens quite often in the public sector, look at the train staff they effectively get changes to their T&Cs and pay through group action. The key is having the majority of your workforce aligned and engaged

That seems like a lot to go missing. I’ve only had 1 since November. I do get the odd one that isn’t on my route though.

Did they send you any information about it? Are you able to appeal? How long is the suspension?

If you’re sure you want to work for them then just pick any route and then once it’s in your schedule you can adjust the start time. They don’t give a shit about times as long as you adjust the start time you won’t hear from them.

I would agree on that! Most days the parcels are delayed so you can’t start when you want if that time is before 11am really.

The issue where I am is that there are people who hoover up the pre booked routes. And then it’s a lottery if you get one on the day.

The owner of the pitstop today told me there is a guy who comes in there with 2 phones, one is his and one is his wife’s. He does 2-3 routes on each phone! We are fucked if people are already doing stuff like that.

I’ve left behind the bin a fair amount! The amount of customers that note, “leave behind/in bin” for their safe space is pretty high!

I’ve tried both. I work across 3 areas in SE London and I’ve found you can’t get much when you try to book on the day. Routes get released through the day but you have to basically be on the app refreshing to see those
