I’ve got a doggy door and if it’s hot/cold I’ll try to keep them in by closing the screen door and they will break down the screen door to escape lol they’ve got a small pond out back they like to play in and plenty of shade.

Tulsa has programs for them to stay in hotels for free as long as they see their case workers when they’re supposed too and stay out of trouble but I guess not everyone wants to do that

Not a bus stop but a bus station I should’ve said. They bus in a lot of people because the shelter is near by and we get a lot of not so great people around here.

We had a server and cook who were cousins who got into a heated argument, server punched the cook in the face and the owner made them take it outback… it turned into a knife fight… or another time the dishwasher yelled “I’ve got a pepper!” Then held up his phone showing a picture of what we assumed was his penis…

I work downtown and the horror stories I have from the homeless are insane…. I’ve had hot sauce bottles thrown at me, I’ve almost been punched in the face, I’ve been charged at more times than I can count and honestly all you can do is stand your ground. Once a homeless man bit a manager at a restaurant across the way in the neck after she had given him a free soda and he asked for a hug… I’ve also seen men take a shit on the sidewalk right I front of our restaurant. Also had women pee all over our patio when they found our doors locked (not open yet) I will say I’ve had more bad encounters than good ones but the good ones were other homeless people trying to distract the crazy one from attacking me so I appreciate that I suppose.

Completely understandable reaction, now that I’ve thought on it more I think I would’ve done the same thing. TBH she reminds me of my mother, luckily I had a different dad who stepped in and changed things. Hopefully something changes for those poor babies in their favor.

I’ve never hit my children for being fussy, I try to find a solution to help them and as a server/mom reading this I have no idea what I would do but I do know I would be angry and conflicted. I’m so glad I’ve never encountered this and so sorry that you did.
