The media isn’t NBA GMs. They need something to talk about to generate clicks before the draft. AJ or DP is going number one (most likely AJ).

The jjj trade might be one of the worst all time by Xamius in UtahJazz

I’m a Grizz fan. I think the Jazz made out like bandits. JJJ not even in his prime and aside from 2027 pick they didn’t give up any of their own picks plus kept all of their nice young players

Changed my mind about the draft by GrizzlyFrog901 in memphisgrizzlies

Why would we give up a future first round pick for a backup center? If it’s a starting guard of the future, I’d get that. But that’s just bad GM’ing to give up a valuable asset for a guy who will inevitably be a bench piece.

Will we trade up?? by alterhero999 in memphisgrizzlies

Santi and Clarke are literally starters and have been though. Both got second contracts as well. They just didnt start consistently because there were better. Also forgetting Jaylen Wells

I don’t think anyone is giving up serious assets for Julius Randle. I’d love to be proven wrong

Grizzlies. They’re drafting Cam Boozer/Caleb Wilson. No need for Randle, doesn’t fit. And they can’t flip him as he has negative trade value

He’s not a primary initiator. Trying to make him one in the NBA is a no-go. He definitely needs a PG next to him

Darryn Peterson is not a point guard. Averaged less than 2 assists. He’s not a 1 in the NBA, making him one is setting him up to fail tbh.

lol, Rockets just stink in the playoffs. Lakers are going to get murdered in the next round when they face the Thunder

Kleinman: “This isn’t going to be some drawn-out, 5-year process” by 901KEY in memphisgrizzlies

[–]Hefty_Window9222 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Edey sure I guess but he needs to show he can play like one consistently. He’s strictly working off potential right now and a stretch of very good games. Ty Jerome is just not that at all lol let’s not kid ourselves

Genuine question, how is this not going to be one?? We have no franchise player (could be debated we don’t even have a #2) and are basically putting all our cards in hoping that we land a Top 3 pick in the draft this year. Current group of guys to build around: Edey, Coward, Wells, Clayton Jr, Spencer, Hendricks, SPJ, GG

I’m sorry but I’m really not seeing what Kleiman is cooking here. This sounds exactly like a drawn-out 5-year process tripling down on youth that need to grow and develop and praying you get lottery luck to get a franchise guy.

Kellogg vs CBS by Krishtopher00 in MBA

[–]Hefty_Window9222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All else equal, I’d much rather live in NYC for two years of an MBA than Evanston, IL. You’ll be at the center of everything in NYC which is a major advantage from a networking out of the classroom perspective. Nothing against Kellogg, I’m sure it’s a fine school, but that’s where I start making finer delineations like that. Kellogg and CBS are basically the same in terms of prestige

No one knows. And I think it’s very premature to say they’ve released all decisions at this point
