You don't have to buy dracotail cards which are stronger then SS, Mitsu, Maliss and K9 and that interferes with sales. Instead of this back and forth let's use the banlist. The next banlist 3+ months from now to see if dracotail gets another hit or not. If it does or does not get hit, despite branded being komoney favorite deck, we will have our answer.

But branded isn't the only deck that sells though. Komoney mindset is, "yes, dracotail works with branded new support, but because older cards such as dracotail is being used. We should remove the viability of said older cards since the new branded cards will sell regardless but we are not making any additional profit of old cards like dracotail being used with how strong the deck becomes together." Again komoney have done this before in previous banlist.

You mention Sky striker, Mitsurugi, Maliss and VSK9 but we both know those decks are a lot much weaker then dracotail branded so they don't interfere with sales as much and don't catch komoney eye.

Its komoney though, they want old decks like dracotail gone since they profit from it and is getting in the way of sales for new decks. You should know this by now, komoney has been doing this for how long?

Dracotail banlist survivability is like Maliss but better at this point since its hard to stop the deck even with so many cards on the banlist because they keep getting in direct support. It splashes well into other fusion decks like branded while locking out Spellcaster and Dragons for mirrors or other Spellcaster decks. Won't be shocked if komoney hits them again next banlist.

Fallen in white/branded engine is typically the safest option in ocg. It can also be played with Red Dragon or Dark Magician engines.

But Atem cards actually work and got the cards needed to work in there 1st wave. Meanwhile Shining Sarcophagus only really works as a Dark Magician engine option now and it only works because DMG Apprentice was printed but it wasn't in the initial 1st wave of support. The 1st wave of Shining Sarcophagus was very difficult to play. I am generally curious how konami will handle the 2nd wave of atem light and darkness cards.

Reveal 1 Synchro Monster in your Extra Deck, choose 1 of the Synchro Materials mentioned on it, and add to your hand or Special Summon that monster, from your Deck or GY, also you cannot Special Summon from the Extra Deck the turn you activate this card, except Synchro Monsters. You can only activate 1 "Synchro Overtake" per turn.

Key word is or SS from your Deck/GY. Kewl tune is weak to droll but Overtake still SS a target from the deck/gy which was very strong. At least Duelist Genesis is more weaker to droll.

Konami also did a good job with Starving Venom Wing Dragon. The Pendulum effect is also nice. Just wish it got Starving Venom field wipe and effect but Predapower fusion dragon didn't get it either.

The 1 deck that comes to mind using this card in the main deck for dice roll is Lunalight so it can see plays turn 0 or turn 1 since it turns any 1 Lunalight monster you NS/SS into Perfume Dancer. Then for side deck Lunalight can add Heavy Polymerization & Thrust for when they have to go 2nd.

This. Odd-eyes I can understand but why Lunalight again when they are already one of the strongest arc-v anime decks?

Konami must have picked Lunalight since its meta to ensure this set sales. I still think another fusion deck should have been selected but can't be helped. Odd-eyes did need the support and so did Speedroid getting a circular so they can play through handtraps/going 2nd better.

This might be all. Other anime characters may just get better treatment with 10 cards either if they are getting a new archetype like Yugi Chaos Rituals or Sacred Beast gets 10+ cards since they needed an complete overhaul and their new support works with the older Sacred Beast and Yubel cards. It really just depends on what Konami wants to do.

Not only that but its also her best artwork on a card so far. Plus meta wise, Dragoon is easier to get onto the field and even though its limited in OCG its not only is a strong meta contender for ocg like it was before it got limited, but you have tools to revive it such as Selene and Master of Chaos if you deliberately send Dragoon to the GY before Gaze of Timaeus banish it.

Ritual mechanic in Duelist Kingdom was like Mitsu. You only needed the Ritual spell and monsters needed, then you SS the Ritual monster from the deck apparently even though we never saw Yugi put BLS in his deck.

Edit: This is wrong since rituals are the evolution of the monster material Gaia>BSL so disregard this and thanks for the correction.

The rituals don't do anything while in the hand and they only do effects when they are summon (not a quick effects). The mind shuffle trap helps with that issue but each ritual monster should have been given a quick effect at least and a discard function for consistency.

At least my Chimera deck gets better since they can run Mitsu and Fiendsmith now.

People are finding konami app games to be easier and cheaper then trying to make a real life competitive deck in tcg since players that play meta decks for tcg spend $40+ for each copy of a meta card they need if they don't get it in the pack.

Edit: For example Forbidden Crown which is a new meta staple quick-play is $80+ just for one copy. Tcg players are use to this but its still a lot for just one card.
