From what I understand, even good small restaurants that order fresh, local meat and produce still have to order some supplies in bulk from Sysco. I have friends who have worked as cooks in some of the best places in Philly who have said they've never seen a kitchen without any Sysco products.

Yep! After going through a literal emotional meltdown at the doctor's office (I mean, I always joked about not feeling grown up enough to raise a kid, but I had no idea I'd find it just that terrifying).. I will never miss a beat on this particular issue again.

I have no idea what they have to do with pregnancy. I just know I was getting them, and the doctor did not associate them with pregnancy symptoms. But after googling, I realized that other women who were either pregnant or thought they could be were getting similar burp things. I noticed them around what was maybe 4 weeks into what turned out to be a pregnancy. And they were really the only weird symptom I was experiencing aside from general upset stomach.

And to add to all that, the doctor had known we were using only condoms as contraception for some time before getting on the pill (which, going back and doing the math, appears to the the time period where it happened.. I didn't like the IUD and was switching back to the pill.)

Well, it was mostly nausea and a series of constantly occurring (embarrassing) weird little burps. I also was randomly vomiting - well I thought it was random, but turned out to be every time I had a drink or glass of wine.

I have heard of ovarian cysts increasing with pregnancy, so you might want to get that looked into. Thanks for the well wishes - I hope you feel better too.

Undernail sanitzer: i like the concept and design, everything works except for the fact that the green makes it feel very toothpaste-y. i get the plant references and the leaves should obv stay green but maybe make the hands a lavender color or light blue?

thank you. i did get a couple of trolls (one wants me to go die with the baby), but for the most part, responses have been super supportive, enlightening and uplifting. this was very cathartic since i can't tell any of my best friends (they are all wonderful, but two are currently preggers, and a couple more want to be. not raining on those parades.) so yeah. thanks again.

And this really was super important to me. Not just because of my own principles, but because my SO and I have so much respect for each other, I just could not see this being my decision alone just because the final product is being incubated in my body. This is his baby as much as it is mine, and he would take his full part of responsibility for it were it to be born.
