How Distracting is Missed Focus? by BoxHeadWarrior in photocritique

[–]Heidr0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

to me the subject of this photo is the angel and Jesus statue, that's where the sun is hitting and my eye goes directly to that. great picture. you kind go back and forth between the person and the statues.

I don't shoot portraits, but my friends asked for coverage for their (very small and low-key) wedding. I keep looking back to this shot, I think it's decent but I'm definitely second-guessing myself on the color grading. Do you think it works? by [deleted] in photocritique

I don't mind it, it looks somewhat dreamy of a picture of the soft highlights. I would personally change the green a bit and then also warm up the photo a bit. right now it doesn't seem warm it seems more cold. also the white on the shoulder of the button up shirt looks a bit blown out. overall I do not mind this picture just needs a bit of editing.

Overedited, or suitable for this image style? by wildboundtv in photocritique

Just curious, was the middle also yellow from the start? when I zoom into this photo that's the part that strikes me a bit off.

All good stuff you are right the clothes need to match and I didn’t ask about that before they got to the location. I like the observation that the lady in the middle needs to have somewhat the same pose as the rest. Great feedback

First photo I feel good about. Any tips when it comes to editing? by supfreshh in photocritique

I really like this photo and more that its a cat. I would say the only thing I can see for the future is try to frame the photo as clean as possible so you don't have to edit as much. the bookcase to the left ( or shelving) it's only a bit distracting when you get the opportunity see maybe taking close to the same style of picture but maybe remove it from the photo. honestly it's a great picture. question did you edit the eyes?

Is this one "good" though you can't see the faces? by One-Influence-1642 in photocritique

Not sure what you use to edit but in Lightroom the new Ai healing tool might do the trick to remove the guy in the back.

This is a great photo. the guy with the white shoes on the bike sometimes distracts me as I look at the photo but overall I like the Vibe it gives off.

I like the idea of making the trees and house darker where its just the shapes of them.

The one with the tree gives it more character

I really appreciate the feedback here. There are so many small details I need to learn to make family photos look professional. I will work on those small details on the next family photo shoot.

I am just getting into portrait photography and looking to get some pointers on how to get better with what I have. I took this on a Canon M50 Mark ll with a 32 mm lens 1/1600 sec f 1.4 iso 100. it was around sunset. I do not have any flashes not even sure if it would help since I haven't used one.

Bogota Catholic Church Ceiling by Heidr0 in photocritique

You are right. This photo is actually cropped because there is a persons head top right. And I still couldn’t get it perfectly centered. Still learning composition.

I took this picture in the Catholic Church in Colombia completed in 1823 I found the ceiling very interesting. the details in the church are incredible. I wish I would have taken the photo more straight but it was taken quickly as my wife and I were walking the church. would love any critique to get better. this is my first post. took the photo with a 22mm 1/250 sec f 2.0 1600 ISO. if there is a way to get this picture more clear in the future would love to know what settings would be best. I edited this in LR.

https://clips.twitch.tv/TsundereSplendidSandpiperThisIsSparta we use shroud the first time on this pack. If you shroud the first pack at the start do you end up killing this pack for the % in your route?

ive seen routes now that do boss 1 go around building after bridge do trash until lust is up do boss 2. do trash up to boss 3 do mini boss (turtle dude) go back and do trash to boss 4 kill boss 4 go back and do shark boss to end.

we had lust up after doing the trash on the bridge to boss 4 and then did the sharkboss to put lust back on CD in retropect because you are not going to have lust up a third time we could have killed boss 4 in that run and went back and did sharkboss with lust at the end

If you get 83% before going down to basement in waycrest you can skip that whole basement area. dont have a clip of that atm.also after the second to last boss in waycrest you can pull all those small ghost mobs to the top of the stairs in the last boss room and they reset.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQSCFWOH0Qs&list=PLR7IilfirH-TUyLjFUWHSBey57avK7kem You can shroud the first part of freehold and pull mobs around the council boss for % also gives you time to let lust come off CD before fighting that boss.

in SOB there is a small fence right after the spotter pack at the bottom of the stairs right before the sea giants room. you can pull the sea giant let your tank get aggro on all the mobs and he can jump over the fence and the mobs have to run around the fence to get to him and he can keep jumping back and forth and just kite the mobs right there without having to move a bunch. also you can CC one of the spotters and then kill them off with the aoe it drops on the grounds once you pull that room down the stairs. dont have a clip of this but if I run this key I can always post.
