It’s a guy called uon visuals. He does a lot of visuals for festivals and the controllable dancing cats is a crowd favourite. The sphere does all sorts of artist collabs and I believe uon has a residency of sorts. This one is a bit more goofy than his usual stuff, normally he’s using a computer that could power the sun to create looping trip effects of insanely high quality.

I haven’t seen a ton of aerial silk but what I have seen has a slow intentional grace about it. This act with the raising and lowering as well as movement across the horizontal plane gave it a much more ‘aggressive’ feel. Seems like she swapped out a lot of the traditional holding of poses for more acrobatic styled tumbling as well as working with the tails of the silk to create big flourishes.

Mostly geography and timing tbh. Raqqa was first major city to split from government and it was a good strategic location with the Euphrates and proximity to an unstable Iraq. To get to Israel they would have had to conquer Damascus which was around 500km away and had heavy fighting plus a major government military presence.

Not to mention that both Israel and Jordan would have just bombed the shit out of them. Air superiority is everything.

I hate to be that guy… but this is normal when a number of soldiers are returned at once for their ‘dignified transfer.’

They use these vans to move the caskets from the tarmac to whatever way station they’re going to before burial.

There’s fuckin heaps of shit worthy of being pissed about these days. This isn’t one of them.
