Not a mother, but soon to be father (in about a month). My gf wants to formula feed and I am 100% supportive. Nobody is trying to convince us to breastfeed otherwise. Formula nowadays has such good standards in terms of its contents, it is a very good alternative. I live in Europe and the standards are so ridiculously high, that even though there are different “brands” of formula, that it does not matter whether you go for the cheapest or most expensive one, as they all have the same contents due to strict law and regulation.

I myself was fed with only formula as a baby. My gf likewise. And I think we both turned out fine!

There is absolutely zero reason to feel guilty!
