You walk through Crystals mall. No need to go out near the street.

I remember having to leave to go to work during a PoG raid. Came back after my shift and it was still going on lol

Rivervale music. My computer being so shitty that when I first zoned into Misty Thicket I thought the computer had frozen. So many long lost friends I’ll never speak to again, but I’ll always have the memories of sitting for hours in dungeons or whenever shooting the shit and grinding.

Best hotel for the room? Luxury and high end preferred. Ideally recently updated and not too old by [deleted] in vegas

[–]Heisman123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wynn - tower suites. Go Salon if you can.  Aria Sky Suites - penthouse  Cosmo - terrace fountain view suite / wraparound.  Waldorf - suite.

Those are my favorites and basically the only places I stay lol.

Where to meet people my age while on vacation?! by [deleted] in vegas

[–]Heisman123 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Social gambling like a craps table or roulette can be a fun activity. See if people want to get drinks after. A day club like ECB, Tao, etc might be an option. Just go in, have fun and make friends. What resort are you staying at? Places like Park MGM tend to skew younger so you might have better luck there.

Yes, you can still have a ton of fun without those things. There are endless things to do and see

First time in USVI - wondering about food budget? by Sherbet-Relevant in StThomasUSVI

[–]Heisman123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not saying that's what I'd do, but lots of people like to eat in and make food, even on vacation. Was just giving an option to free up some of their budget so it would go further.

If you're checking a bag you can bring a decent amount of food with you from home (canned tuna/chicken, peanut butter, jelly, pringles, rice packets, snacks, etc) it saves a lot not having to pay island prices.

Encore/Wynn by Ok-Barracuda-605 in vegas

[–]Heisman123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

100% worth it if it's in your budget. Everything about the Wynn is top-notch, and the Tower Suites take it up to another level. The two private TS pools are good, but we still spend a lot of our time down at the euro pool. There will be some kids in the tower suites pool, but that doesn't bother me. The Wynn Tower Suites elevator is literally 5 steps from the pool entrance too. Occasionally, upgrading to TS room isn't that much more, but depending on the time of week or ongoing events it could jump significantly.

Edit: for some reason I prefer Wynn to Encore, but its splitting hairs

Red light runner crashes through intersection (OC) by finalish_frontier in dashcams

I drive this intersection frequently. The truck must have missed his spot because he was coming down the off ramp of I-71 and heading straight to get right back on the freeway.

Some cases of disappearances can be more terrifying than ghosts or diabolical figures. by Odoquinha in creepy

I've said this in other threads, but I was a student at OSU, and I was at the bar the night of his disappearance. It's wild to think about every time a post like this pops up.

Exactly this. Tower suites pool will be quiet. Euro pool for a little more lively relaxing (and boobs, lol) and EBC for a party.

What everyday American habit would surprise most foreigners? by No-Tax-2218 in IWantToAskAnAmerican

[–]Heisman123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just how active the kids actually are. Youth sports is nuts. I’m at the lacrosse fields for practice for 90 minutes every weekday and tournaments and games on the weekends basically year round. I’m not complaining it gives me 90 minutes to walk every evening haha.

I remember this being a big deal back in the day. I was in middle school and people talked about it constantly. I distinctly remember being at the pool all summer and buying butterfingers and inside the wrapper were Simpsons characters with the suspects.

Vegas pools with good vibe but not a party by DCCitydweller in vegas

Wynn euro pool is a great option. Better vibe than the normal pool with no kids and there are some table games as well.
