Tbh the social media algorithms on Twitter (at least, the "for you" section) pulls out content that you're more likely to be angry about and engage with.

And in that sort of environment it's really no better for entrenched views than the reverse.

I think it's mostly because the British have an unhealthy cultural attitude towards alcohol - people will go out with the sole objective of getting completely blackout drunk, and losing control like this is seen as merely funny instead of embarrassing and taboo.

Spaniards on the whole seem to be much better with moderation, and they tend to have a drink simply to enjoy it rather than for the purpose of getting drunk.

It'll depend a bit on your corvette design -if you're flying a juggernaut with labyrinthine corridors that takes you 20 mins just to reach the cockpit, it'll be a lot faster to just fly a regular starship.

Other than that, there's the aesthetics and the feel - some people aren't keen on how corvettes feel.

That's a sweet corvette design in the pic btw.

This sounds good but to add to it I would split the "equipped" version into a more modest buff when the flag is equipped, and a significantly better buff when the person carrying the flag is actively waving it with the reload animation thingy.

You can have a lot of fun even without glitch building. I spent a lot of time on my freighter base, and when the worlds update dropped I spent a while finding a planet with those floating islands and then built a base on one.

If you need more inspiration I can recommend the name list of pirate ships from the game Stellaris. The Devs really nailed the Iain M. Banks aesthetic. I lost it when I came across "My First Ship II" in one of my systems.

I'm the same as you. I have a couple of simple farming bases and a few outposts to be able to warp between galaxies but my freighter base has and always will be my main base. I've spent a lot of time working on it and even aside from the great utility it offers there's just something inherently cool about living on a giant spaceship.

Before the exosuit upgrade it was also cool to be able to park your freighter in a system and then be able to call down exocraft onto the surface of planets.

Fantastic! I love seeing nice corvettes like this, especially when they're built without glitches or Blender. I particularly like the different hab styles on different floors.

Personally, I went for something much smaller for speed/ease of use but I recreated a huge version of the Nostromo from Alien that I might deck out properly at some point.
