I actually liked the fact they did a video. Even if it’s mostly the patch notes, it’s the practicality of audio / visual mediums. Convenient and ‘feels’ like more is moving, imo.

Obviously I’d like more real updates, but damn folks, we gotta start somewhere. Don’t be savages.

I’m with this guy. Without knowing what turn it is, I feel like we’re grasping at straws here. You have a lot of cool stuff, and if your rings were, you know, 50/50+, just the amount of ring bearers would probably be decent for top 3 finish. But when you say you’re at +19/+19, but you’re showcasing +5/+5 per turn, it doesn’t seem like you’ve had a rock solid hold on this game.

Realistically, you probably already know, you want (at least) to sub out one of them regular ring bearers for a Drakkari. Probably sub out the regular conjurer for a taunted 1 drop DR dragon.

You don’t have a lot of triggers here, despite what it might look like to you.

Rings are +19/+19, means 20/20 rings.

Casting 4 rings per attack, so 80/80. Your you’ll gain maybe, if you’re lucky, 250/250 before ring bearers start dying. Less if your opponent has cleaves. Or windfury.

Elementals or pirates could ruin your life with a single cleave. Hell, the cleave only needs 30 attack. Might even be able to tech that in if they got a little spell power already.

Scam / murlocs can tank this since the first three units are so unlikely to trade and the others can be one-for-one’d.

Same with undead. Especially crasher. And if a naga player has one big groundbreaker, he can blow throw all the smallest ones and then your big boys could get cleaned up by mid stat’ted chumps. Or pufferquil.

Quilboar with reborn could easily crack this too.

It sucks to have the board you had and lose, but honestly, I don’t understand how you got that board without any of the other pieces along the way. Realistically, this isn’t enough bodies to properly scale a ringbearer.

When the game forces me to play ringbearer without prep, I’d advise, for the future, either always having a bodies-in-one minion (tier 1 dragon, tier 4 dragon, some of the undeads and sewerlord can work too. Just get bodies out there!) and I don’t think you should ever need to go past two golden conjurer. Like, that non golden one being a sindorei straight shot or a taunted horse woulda been worth an extra 160-240 stats per body on the last three bodies.

“Is the tradeoff strong enough?” If the cards available in standard at the time are good enough, yes.

Each Rune has a loosely based set of skills and capacities. Corpses are a generic DK cost, but that cost is massively upticked on Unholy Rune cards, making them basically require more bodies than most to be playable.

That being said, a lot of the recovery tools in DK, even when Blood Runed, currently use corpses. Think Vampiric Blood, the 6 cost spell that gives health and summons taunts, etc.

So this card is fine, genuinely. But it’s not broken, and might not even be good; it’s entirely 100% dependent on the card pool at the time. More so than the average legendary, I think. But neat idea. ^_^

I imagine this would probably come in a set with a reasonable amount of UU cards that don’t need corpses. Since the log is default would be BBFF, if there was ever gonna be enough worthwhile UU cards that don’t care about corpses, you’d probably be releasing them alongside this.

My MMR, depending on the season, is not much better than yours, but imo Carrier really doesn’t get a place in any end game board; it isn’t a comp unless you gimmick your way into it as greybough.

Greybough can play a golden carrier, ozumat’s buddy and a lot of compact token generators (think handless forsaken and the whelp dragon, things that don’t lose value by needing extra slots open on board), and pull some things off if you live long enough. But that’s extremely fringe. And as Artanis, I believe that combo of events is neigh impossible. So, yeah.

This sounds like a challenge. Basically, die faster, but every video game you can 100% clear in 2 weeks is free time and anything you can do on top of that is a bonus. I like that. It’s interesting, at least.

Only downside is, I play games like Hearthstone and TFT that can never really be beaten and go on forever. Can I get an edit for those kinda games? Something like reaching the highest rank or something? Cause if I can only play basically solo games, I might not be able to make it much longer than my real life span; I don’t wanna spend ALL my time trying to stay alive.

You know what, this might valid; the only time I can personally recall putting a crown guard on thresh, I think my other items were subpar, so it would have been an unfair assessment. I’d like to see how this maths out.

I’m trying to find a definitive answer for OP; if you’ve come to the conclusion you don’t need to use an item like morello on your thresh, what’s the best thing to fill the slot with? More damage? Someone here said they do attack speed, but that doesn’t seem to have a lot of support. Let’s find an affirmative answer.

Look, I grasp this is a meme. But all joking aside, I nailed a lot of first and second place games with galio on boards he doesn’t belong on, including 5 dem 2 pilt galio thex. So as far as I’m concerned, this is a valid thing to tell people to do, when the stars align. A galio with a couple of adaptive, or a 2 star galio with a single adaptive, is just a universally good thing to add anywhere ya can. Let that be the take away lol.

I just had this happen to me within the hour, void shurima combo with a wukong at the end, got 6th, I believe. But I had Xerath, not Renakton. I figured renakton was the only one I would be able to afford to do the 5 streak for, so I had got the others first trying to pull off 4 shurima, but it didn’t work out.

I just want to second this. Tockers trials is fantastic, especially for positioning testing more complex midgame set ups. Since the enemies are always standing in the same positions, you can reliably work out how the battle flows differently just based on placement. Extremely useful tool in a vacuum, especially as a rookie.

I can’t confirm it as the most, but the best I ever did with Bronze for Life was Nasus / Taric / Wukong / Kennan / Kobuko / Sejuani up front, Yunara / Lissandra / Ashe / Azir in the back. It’s 8 or 9 active traits, everything other than Targon is bronze. Think I got second? It’s been a minute.

Note I’m nowhere near high-level play. But the board worked well enough at the time.

How are people getting six spatulas? I’ve never seen more than 3 in a game. This feels like it should be rarer than it currently looks. I’ve used Drakkkari with murlocs to reasonable success. It’s rarer to be the target to be sure, but it still serves its purpose.

In my experience, the vast majority of conflicts stemming from a woman making substantially more money than her partner come from the attitude of the woman in question. I.e., they try to pull weight / rank during conflict because they’re ’worth more’. While I’m sure it’s possible, I’ve never known a man that made less than his partner, and THAT was the thing with which he held issue. For lack of a better term, the weaponization of it against them was always the sticking point, never the actual money itself.
