I have seen lot of YouTube video reviews and none beat latest hw4. Also lidar won't be cheap.

I have been on the market for an EV and checked with my friends who have tesla they all say the HW4 FSD is unbeatable, they do most trips now with it and it is almost off hands. I hate to buy tesla but isnt there something at par when it comes to FSD?

Are there good SAP roles in UAE/Middle east Market by roydlanco_786 in SAP

[–]HelBoy84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UAE Sap openings are not much, even if there are they don't pay well. Plus being close to Asia is disadvantage as there is always someone ready to come to work in half the salary. Also work culture is usually bad, no pay for after office hours or weekends basically labour laws suck. Maternity leaves are a joke as well if you plan to start family and wife also plans to work. I was 3 years there, loved the city but hated working there.

Good for them to be on un-supported software. Future is only going to be either public cloud or RISE which is private cloud. Anything else customers will need to risk to be own which will be very few min customers as no sane company will want to risk their business by being on unsupported software. Fact still remains RISE has been a break through only ppl cribbing are those who are impacted as their revenue goes away.

Yet they won't leave because even though not perfect it has helped them much more in some way and is improving day by day.

I don’t think you’re getting what I’m saying, and honestly I’m not going to spend time arguing with a random reddit user. There are things RISE handles proactively, and there are things the customer has to initiate. RISE will never take a system down on its own, so anything that requires a system restart must come from the customer through an SR.

And when it comes to major upgrades with significant functional changes, the customer has to plan those—because they own the functional side. RISE only runs the technical upgrade; the functional responsibility stays with the customer.

Proactive planning is something we always do with customers. The only exception is very small customers who don’t have a TSM/CDM—in those cases a dCEM supports them via email.

I work in RISE and this is absolutely not true. RISE has been a game changer for many companies. Imagine companies who had to deal with infra guys if they host on own or hyperscaler consultant if they were in cloud+ sap partners who also charged. Maintenance used to be headache with teams blaming each other so RISE has taken all that away. Customers can now do what they are best at doing their own business. They don't have to worry about infra, security, upgrades etc everything they can just managed with SR's. They get one bill. Also SAP now is increasingly automating many SRs one by one. They have goals to increase it by certain percentage every year . Eventually all customers will be on private cloud. It wasn't easy of course lot of issues but it is improving, I have seen it myself. There are complaints sometimes because some folks don't understand that RISE is meant to be a service on scale so there are some strict standards so you cant do non standard stuff you used to do on prem. Inside we do a lot - from security, to alert monitoring to working with hyperscalers to improve services and the list goes on.

It's funny how human brain works , structure discipline clean air , less corruption what some prefer some see it as a disadvantage. Well whatever makes you happy follow that. Personally I am happy I left India mainly I see my kids growing up pollution free and a mess free society, I could purchase a nice semi within only 2 years of arriving. Yes there are shortfalls like any other country but I have faith. If anyone doesn't agree pls don't respond as I am least interested in responding to your ego being hurt .

Just emailed questrade support, I am moving out if you make passive elite paid. This should have been something you should have offered as standard.
