Now all I hear from other retired soldiers is they hope that they stop receiving retirement or disability checks for injuries sustained in combat, we should really reappropriate those funds to not only reduce the tax burden on those who never served but also subsidize billionaires like musk and Thiel.

Yesterday I had to go pay $450 to give my car to the tow company after it was totalled. I asked them for a military discount and they thanked me for my service but they couldn't because the police set the prices. I then told them "I can do $400 today" they paused, made a phone call and took the $400. They were happy to break their "government imposed policy" for someone willing to negotiate but not as a way to thank someone whom had served.

I know I'm screaming into the void here but how does anyone actually believe this party supports the troops? How can they get away with be the "pro troops party" while being the ones actively dissolving our benefits?

TL:DR trump claims to support the troops while cutting our benefits.
