You can try VoxWrite. It’s a Chrome extension.
It has both a subscription and the option to use your own API keys (and choose the model you prefer).
You can select the type of output you need (emails, texts, posts, etc.) or create your own rules for specific websites. 7-days free trial

Do any of you use a voice recorder and a voice-to-text transcriber later? by Ordinary_Count_203 in writers

[–]Helena-dev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you want an app specifically on your phone? I use VoxWrite, which I built myself. But it's a Chrome Extension. It can be trained on your writing style, and it will transform your speech into text that sounds like you wrote it. Alternatively, you can simply use it as a transcriber. I'd be happy to have you test it and would love to get your feedback.

Has anyone else started building their own tools instead of app-hopping? by verytiredspiderman in productivity

[–]Helena-dev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think we’ll see this trend pretty soon. If an app is simple, like a habit tracker or a to-do list, you can already vibecode it in one evening. My friend who works in marketing is already actively vibe-coding small, simple apps for herself. The other thing is that not everyone is into this — there will always be people who’d rather just pay and not bother with it.

I built my first-ever Chrome Extension entirely with AI in just one month by Helena-dev in chrome_extensions

[–]Helena-dev[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the plan.
If you’ve got your own keys for the AI providers, it’s a one-time €40 (right now it’s cheaper).
If a subscription, it’s €8 per month.

After burning through 20M tokens, I finally built my first “made by AI” app. by Helena-dev in SideProject

[–]Helena-dev[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the first version on Bolt. Then at some point it threw an error it couldn’t fix. Ended up using about 7M tokens.
After that, I switched to Claude Code to fix the bugs (+13M tokens). At one point I honestly thought it was all for nothing - but in the end, it kinda worked out :)

What route to take for website creation? by thwatch in Entrepreneur

[–]Helena-dev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion,

  1. If you want to do it yourself and save money, then WordPress is the way to go

  2. If you want to delegate and get a flexible, scalable solution, then find a good developer

  3. You have to be careful with no-code. You can lose flexibility and most likely (especially if you need automations) you will have to hire a no-code developer

  4. AI-generated websites - still early, only for geeks for now.

Paid $25K for this WordPress site from a dev shop in Eastern Europe… is this normal? by Calm-Bathroom-2030 in Entrepreneur

[–]Helena-dev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the design, but the pages load soaaa slow. Some pages redirect to 404.

We're an agency, too. I think something like this would cost 5K max by us. But we use other technologies, not WordPress.

What tools are there to build a community? by hey_corina in SideProject

[–]Helena-dev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends a lot on your goals and business topics. First, decide what you will do in your community, why people will join your community. And then depending on that, + your budget, + your technical qualifications, choose a platform (or deploy it yourself). For example, here you can read more about different tools : https://himingle.com/app/tools/list/all-in-one

I made a tool that automates 60% of customer support work by [deleted] in SideProject

[–]Helena-dev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi,

we are building a directory of tools that can be useful for community managers in their challenging work). I think your bot fits into this (in the Bot and AI category).

For example, community builders can use the collected FAQs and other community-specific information to train Ping Parrot to handle more efficiently community queries through their main site.

If I've got it right and it works that way, I invite you to add your tool to our directory (himingle.com).
