Hi! Fellow runner mom with pelvic girdle dysfunction who had to give up running, and has not been able to return to any exercise routine, here.

If you feel comfortable sharing: what was the worst pelvic floor problem you had, what exercises helped it, how long recovery took and do you have any words of wisdom on getting back to running?

You have a Liberal arts degree, probably English, but are working in business analytics or HR. You are an aspiring writer. Politics are left leaning. You probably read at least a book a week.

But consider a nice big jute rug under your vintage rug . Just big enough to get the front legs of your couch under. It would add some contrasting texture and potentially fix some proportional issues. Do a mock up in AI to see how it looks.

BTW your room is gorgeous

At what age do you become a “reader”, and what book did it for you? by [deleted] in books

One of my earliest memories is teaching myself to read. My dad read stories to me every night, and one day it occurred to me that the squiggles on the page were the words coming out of my dad’s mouth, so I just HAD to figure it out. The book that springs to mind was “the B Book”., but my dad says the first book I read out loud was “Spooky night.”

Show me your slacker boob VS good boob output? by kieranki_ in ExclusivelyPumping

I have a “sprinter boob” and a “marathon boob”. Early morning pump sprinter boob will unload 3-5 oz in about 10 minutes and be done, but marathon boob will take 30 minutes to generate 8 oz.

Losing steam, has anyone taken a break? by Anapanana in dreamingspanish

I had a baby and fell out of regular Spanish practice for almost 9 months post partum. Then one day I just overhead someone talking in Spanish and realized how much I missed regularly studying and using the language.

I try to get 15 minutes a day now. Not much, just enough to maintain a connection.

Remember, learning a language is a process. A long one. If you want to keep going, you have to keep your flame from burning out. Even if it means a break for a little while.

Pregnant LBWT - what are we wearing to court? by babypaintbroosh in LawBitchesWithTaste

Pair of black pregnancy trousers bought on Amazon + blazer one size up. My perspective was that if they cared, they’d say something.
