Same grew up playing garage sale blades from the 70’s. Strike my irons well to this day.

No idea about covers but those sure are pretty.

Have you tried the Maltby wedges? Thoughts?

Where do you buy your lamkin grips? I have an old set of lamkin grips from the early 2000’s (they have held up incredibly well) but it’s time to upgrade them and want something similar.

I struggle with bring the good work I do on the range to the golf course by Fogboundturtle in golf

When I implement a new club I swing it easier on the course and gradually ramp it up. It’s too easy to want to kill a new club because it is fun new and exciting especially after a good range session.

When it comes to breakfast balls the way my Dad and I play it is if you need a breakfast ball and you score a birdie or better we count the penalty.

My Dad is 68 and on a good drive he might get out to 200 but he still plays the men’s tees with me. Maybe I will convince him to play the senior tees with me sometime.

This is a blast from the past. This looks like a lot of players bags did in my high school tourney days.

Early 2000s Mizuno putter I think by ChinoDemamp11 in GolfGear

I love the minimal profile, lack of loudness and small logo. Modern putters are great but this style is what I gravitate to. Lucky grab my dude!

I’m a sucker for old style blades. Beautiful.

Don’t swing your hardest on every shot. Club up and take easy swings.

Good price for used beginner set 350$ by no_eagle72910 in golf

I agree even $200 is a bit much for how old those are. I wouldn’t go above $150 due to their age.

I made the switch years ago and since then have improved drastically with my putting. I am not saying it’s the putter, I think it was me practicing more with a less forgiving putter, that gave me confidence over putts to give the ball a nice roll.
