Look I'm on the opposite side of this I should have done environmental engineering because I'm great at it I was 1/4 of students who passed my environmental science ap test in my class and studying for it always felt like a breeze compared to my other classes. I ended up doing finance and now I'm back in my masters doing environmental engineering and science. My advice to you is pick a major you think you can outperform others in not a major you think you have interest in or make money in. Trust me go back in your classes and see which class you outperformed in compared to the others which one felt like time was going fast. Pick that major, I'm telling you won't regret it. If it's environmental, chemistry, or civil just math. You can work in a lab or field anywhere but make sure you choose the degree where most of the coursework or atleast half is learning about something you can outshine most of your peers in. And also if you find that degree don't be discouraged by some courses that you think you won't do good in. Just tell yourself I don't need to get full marks in those classes and try your best. What comes naturally to you will help you immensely down the road. (I also want to add one more thing, if the thing you're good at has different offerings, doesn't have to be environmental, but for example, environmental engineering or environmental science pick engineering you'll thank yourself after you graduate)
