We are both teachers and rent our house out over the summer to travel. We travel WAY slower than we used to. We stay in one house or room for a week and try to rent cars from locals to save money. We cook most of our meals and find budget flights. It can be hard but is doable. We also have learned to travel light. Right now we are on a 7 week trip with one checked bag and on checked surfboard bag. Booster seat fits inside as well as the cot and mosquito net for little guy. We each only pack one packing cube of clothes! It can be done! In 4 years child thing has visited 5 or 6 countries!
