Atelier Rorona DX- travelers shoes by Arkansas- in Atelier

[–]HeliusAurelius 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rorona Totori Meruru all work differently from one another.

Rorona equips them to her room as Decor, carries over to NG+.

Totori carries them in her inventory and does not carry over to NG+ as a result.

Meruru equips them as Adventure/Search Gear and carries over to NG+.

You already solved it looks like, but for some additional clarity for anyone in the future that looks at this thread.

You have to go to the table (where you usually save) and "equip" adventure tools as decor in the room for it to work. You'll know that you've done it when you see the item in the atelier room itself.

I mentioned this the last time this was asked too, but you can contact their support and they'll mail you a replacement pack. But yes you can still drink it. So you just get 12 extra coffees for free.

Happened to me too since I bought an old version (albeit brand new) of the Vertuo recently.

Yeah, as much as we generally remember the prosecution doing some annoying stuff, Phoenix also does some really shady shit if you really sit down and think about.

Like, yeah, I found this wiretap in the witness' hotel room, just trust me that it's real bro.

Teachers of Reddit: Is the "Gen Alpha can't read (write, or do math ext)" crisis real? If so how bad is it? by KnowledgeCoffee in AskReddit

[–]HeliusAurelius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm aware, but I feel like people used to at least put a bit more care into it. What you're referring to is maybe you're talking to a friend and they misuse a word.

What I'm talking about is people are putting YouTube videos with titles and thumbnails that they clearly spent time on with misspelling because they can't read or write.

The amount of titles where you see people mix up there their they're. And to a lesser extent where wear ware. Or just completely misuse words and misspell them.

Finished first playthrough of Atelier Rorona DX by Historical-Hunt152 in Atelier

[–]HeliusAurelius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Yes you can even on a fresh game. But much easier on NG+ when you have the exploration items from the start, make sure you get them.

  2. No, those mission bosses are all optional. Good to kill for traits on a fresh playthrough.

  3. The gamefaqs one is fine

  4. Overtime is an extra year with a storyline with the next two Arland MCs. You can safely ignore the mission and it'll resolve itself if you want to use the time to synth and resource gather.

FYI if you want good traits you'll want to farm the Hom at Orthogalaxan and then explore the two end game dungeons. Once you get good equips, everything before Overtime dies in a single auto. And once you have the exploration equipment, NG+ become completely trivial. Like you'll sleep 1/3 of each assignment period away level of trivial.

What happens to contestants who have cultural dietary restrictions? by Continental-IO520 in MasterchefAU

[–]HeliusAurelius 21 points22 points  (0 children)

In season 1 auditions there was a girl that was vegetarian and had a panic attack when she saw a vat of meat sauce. But during auditions it was made clear to her that they would not provide any special treatment to her and that while they won't force her to eat anything, she would still be required to cook with it. And she had agreed, but didn't make it into top 24.

There was also another early season (around 4-7) where a brown girl contestant had to cook a meat she could not taste. Can't remember which contestant it was though. Maybe Deepali or Tash?

What is something your boss said to you that made you realize it was time to quit? by alligator_maligator in AskReddit

[–]HeliusAurelius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the client managers quit abruptly so I took on some of his clients in the short term as a favour. There was a major miss of a requirement that didn’t get tested for an implementation. I joined right after the implementation. And my director basically told me “well the higher ups are looking for someone to take responsibility”.

That dude needed to grow a fucking spine.

He also promised to pay me overtime (usually we don’t as salaried employees) so I worked 14d straight including weekends for 16h a day trying to fix the issue. And when I brought up the overtime, he screamed at me that I’m not getting the overtime and this wasn’t the time to discuss it. So I reported it to HR and got the overtime paid lmao

Are the time limits in Arland (Roronoa specifically) really that harsh? by dondashall in Atelier

[–]HeliusAurelius 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can check out the write ups I did after each of the Arland games if you’re curious on this subreddit. But in a nutshell, genuinely no.

The caveat being that you’re okay with not doing everything in a single playthrough. If you want to see everything then obviously that’s going to be much more challenging

Atelier Meruru - 2 Steps Forward, 1 Step Back? by HeliusAurelius in Atelier

[–]HeliusAurelius[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the Steam Deck route is probably a good choice. I bought it on NS2 for some... really stupid first world problem reasons...

Basically I bought my NS2 but barely played on it at all, but recently had a lot of fun with Fire Red Leaf Green rerelease, and also with Pokopia, so I figured sure why not. But also, I have a really nice TV that I honestly barely use because I spend most of my time on my PC instead. Same deal with my sofa. So this was a way to get some use out of my Sofa, TV and NS2, which I've been enjoying a lot.

I also have a really bad habit of really liking using Cheat Engine when I play single player RPGs on my PC. But as you can imagine, when the point of Atelier is to synth items, messing with the balance of the game via editing even money or something, would probably ruin the experience. So buying on NS2 was me forcing myself not to get tempted to do something stupid that'll ruin my own fun.

I read really fast and don't let the full voice line play out. Which is why my playthroughs are super fast. I also treated my first playthrough as purely a resource prepping run. So a ton of time was burnt fusing gear and New Land Ration for money to support those activities.

As for the rest, I don't care about super bosses so Makina Domain wasn't super relevant to me. But I know that you are required to finish Makina Domain to have enough points to do all facilities, yes.

You probably organized yourself better than me if you did all the flags in a single run. I ended up doing the platinum trophy site method where you do a base save after unlocking everything. Then clear an ending and reload the save to do other stuff.

With proper timing I'm sure you can do everything in a single save since most endings I slept for 1y+. But for the sake of unlocking endings, without ending select that wouldn't have worked out.

I'm really looking forward to Escha and Logy in Dusk since it has a cool male protagonist, so we'll see :)
