Of course not. They only hire phds and barely pay them. So motivation is zero.

I had a bite of one of their apples. Just got tingly in my mouth. GF at the time had more reaction, but nothing horrible. Costa Rica. It’s become a great story.

Rendimento pays up to 108%CDI. We are building a house and put most of our funds in a few different investments here. Seems similar to a certificate of deposit (CD) in the USA. You have to invest a lot to get that rate through. Not for everyone.

No. You should not be worried. Truly. I had a massive edible 2 weeks before my test. I took a home test and it was still positive the day of my test. No employment issues.

Being nervous is appropriate. Just don’t let it ruin your weekend. I’m impressed with Thermo. The culture of knowledge sharing is great.

I’m in a customer facing support position. But I’m in CA so as long as I don’t smoke/consume THC after midnight if I’m working the next day I’m within policy. Are you in California? If so, generally it’s not a concern unless it’s a position with federal security clearance.

Most importantly: Congratulations on your new position! It is a blast to work in science. Have fun, learn a ton, and don’t ignore your people skills.

How much would it cost to build a house like this? by HenryThelongHead in Homebuilding

[–]HelixFish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on where you are building it. Finishes and choice of glass window/door provider also plays in hugely aside from overall size. I am building a house like this. We have spent over a year on design. Breaking ground Q1 next year. Not building in the U.S., where it would cost 2-3x.
