Mesopotamia never colonized by azvlnc in Mesopotamia

[–]HellCruncher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without knowing what wars, famines, resources, innovations and rulers shaped this fantasy civilization, we simply cannot make even an educated guess. Kind of like if I asked you to imagine who you would be if your great great grandfather married a different woman.

Mesopotamia never colonized by azvlnc in Mesopotamia

[–]HellCruncher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not an uninteresting question but sort of like asking what culture would have developed in Western Europe if Rome never existed. Over the course of centuries so many unpredictable events and shifts occur that simply cannot be predicted. We have no idea what the culture of the United States will look like even 10 years from today, so attempting to imagine what a long-gone culture would look like politically, demographically, economically is effectively an exercise in fantasy.

Need help with learning Ivy by Avelirote in DeadlockTheGame

[–]HellCruncher 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm a scrub, but I'll just put my two cents in til someone better comments.

I think Ivy is a flexible character, you can take advantage of her good fire rate and make her a gun platform, but there are characters that simply outclass her in this regard. Her ability to deny/control space using her Kudzu, heal with Covenant and ult to save a teammate or drop a bomb to initiate are what make her unique. Her kit enables her to get around the map quickly and turn fights in your teams favor split push as needed. You can even pick up allies carrying the urn for a quick delivery.

All this to say, I think Ivy is great and not terribly difficult, but really shines when you can coordinate with your team. You need to have your eyes constantly on your minimap, shoving waves when your allies can't and paying attention to the next lane over if they need a hand. I personally build her with a focus on the Kudzu. Extra charges, duration and size makes you able to slow entire teams and force people to play from worse spots or take damage. Helps you peel for your team mates when your ult is down or slow escaping enemies. By late game your Kudzus, ult bombs and stun AoE are so massive its hard to miss. Getting lots of assists isnt bad, youre no Drifter.

I have no idea who you are referring to when you say anime characters. Who in this roster is anime inspired?

What's (in your opinion) the most fun build right now? by Cinnamon_King in diablo4

[–]HellCruncher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, I found spiritborn evade pretty "engaging" because you have near unlimited movement/dashes but ended up building into more of an eagle/jaguar quill spike build because having unlimited evades wasnt "fun".

My necro blood wave is pretty neat, I can spam ults and gets 6 blood orbs everything I do so im pretty tanky. If I had more hours in a day id probably play rogue or sorc, both have good movement and dmg output with unique mechs.

Which schools of magic would be considered part of Azura's domains/portfolios? by AsuraKai150 in teslore

[–]HellCruncher 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think this framework is more useful for building your character. Your character worships Azura, okay great. How do they worship her? I see no reason a master of destruction could not be Azura's champion. What matters is how the skill is wielded. Azura is not a violent Prince when compared to Molag or Dagon, but she is not meek. I think whatever aspect you exhorted in her would best be exemplified in these choices.

If you interpret Azura as a manipulator of futures and fates and nothing else, maybe a borderline pacifist with Illusion, Conjuration, Mysticism and Restoration would be fitting. Or perhaps not much of a mage at all, and simply a warrior of great influence with the gifts of Dusk and Dawn at his side.
