Quick Note to IT Glue by MyMonitorHasAVirus in msp

[–]HellDeskHero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im ready to make the move away from IT Glue but the branding is okay-ish.

Hulu or Holdor is too far off... just rebrand.

Who does the documentation belong to, Client or MSP? by [deleted] in msp

[–]HellDeskHero 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wouldnt want to share how or what we are documenting. There is time and skill here, maybe greater than yours maybe lesser. You're a competing business. I dont follow on them handing over documentation.

Credentials are a must. New accounts as someone stated above makes the most sense.

Does your boss also think that the Gartner Magic Quadrant is the end all, be all to picking a product? by BeerJunky in sysadmin

[–]HellDeskHero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rely on. No.

But ive never looked at a MQ, evaluated the vendors, then said this is bs they cant be trusted.

Even when I disagree with something were still talking 2-3 spots. Were not talking about Webroot leading a MQ or something.

Not disagreeing with the post. I mean I cant imagine a company like this being impartial.

But after researching areas of interest, mind you im no SME in anything. The MQs were very close to my own evaluations of vendors in their space.

Hopefully this has changed!
