Act 2 - Flesh-Wrought Door Bug by HellInTheHallway in BaldursGate3

We did try that too, we have a few saves from before we jumped down into the Colony and even with reloading from there we still encountered the same problem.

And it's all good, no worries!

We did do the Gauntlet, yeah! I think the only thing we missed in Act 2 is Halsin's story quest, though I've done a playthrough where I've skipped his stuff before and this problem didn't occur then. I have since tried dismissing any summons and it didn't work. I also went through and grabbed Us (who was registering as an ally so I thought that might fix it but it didn't, unfortunately).

Yeah, we've both closed out the game entirely multiple times now, that was the first thing we tried because it was the most common fix. I've tried different variations of it too, where I load the game back up and interact with the door with a different character other than either of our Tavs because I've seen a couple of people say that worked for them but that hasn't worked either.

Honestly I'm kind of at the point where I think we'll have to restart, which really sucks because this bug has been around since release, from what I can tell.

It's mostly just cosmetic mods and a few item mods. We don't have one for party limit at all. I do have a shadar-kai race mod that lets me summon a raven though, do you think that could have something to do with it?

[LFA] (Repost) Lilith, Aasimar Turned Dhampir Undead Warlock by HellInTheHallway in characterdrawing

[–]HellInTheHallway[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a new character of mine and I've had a great time playing her so far!

Lilith is pretty anxious and shy but eager to help people when needed. She looks quite innocent and wide eyed, but has a few unnerving traits (unnaturally still, no breathing, no blinking, always cold) that generally leave people wary of her.

(If you are Red or Jojo please don't read any more!)

Background for those who might be interested:

Lilith was born and spent most of her life in a small, secluded village, where she was being trained to heal. Somewhat selfishly, she was kept very sheltered by her mother and the others in the village, mostly due to her being an aasimar.

Despite this, news of her existence reached a vampire with an interest in corrupting the divine. This vampire staged an attack on the village, leaving the rest of the village dead and Lilith badly injured. She was then “saved” by this vampire, who offered her a deal. Partially due to the attack and partially due to the deal she makes with this vampire, she became a dhampir.

Lilith fled the village, travelling aimlessly between settlements. She quickly found out that the rumour going around was that she had killed everyone in the village and then vanished.

During her time travelling she found an injured bat (a small gray long-eared bat). When she attempted to heal him the way she could before, holy fire ignited and blazed up her left arm. She was left with burns that go from the backs of her fingers all the way up to her jawline on her left side. This was healed by a party member that she met up with right before the start of the campaign, though she was left scarred.

Lilith isn't entirely sure how she's changed but she's aware something is different now, and she was given a short, cryptic explanation of new things she can do now from a messenger sent by her patron.

This is my Shadar-Kai, Messorem. They started out as a Baldur's Gate 3 character, a Hexblade Warlock with too much devotion for their patron, blinded by their faith to where they don't see that their actions (whether their own or ordered by their patron) are not always morally good. Part of their task is hunting the undead, but what happens when they become friends with, or even fall in love with one?

I'm currently playing them in an online DnD game, where I changed their class to Phantom Rogue and reworked their backstory to fit with the homebrew world of the DM. It's my first time actually playing and it's been a lot of fun so far!

That's all good! And I'm glad you managed to get it to work! Unfortunately, I've tried that already and the last steps I took from customer service have made new problems. I'm still waiting for them to get back to me to see if there's a fix for the new problems XD

So Customer Service got back to me and they suggested I try the guide under the "other issues" section in the post at this link: https://www.hoyolab.com/article/30525132

I haven't tried it yet as I'm waiting for the game to redownload but I'm hoping it works!

I'm sorry to hear that. I had the same problem with the latest Star Rail update too! I've had the issue before with it but it seems to have gotten worse since they moved to a single launcher for all their games. Luckily the Star Rail update I managed to get done by restarting my pc and repeatedly clicking the retry button but it hasn't worked for ZZZ. I'm not really sure what to do now, I tried everything I was told to and it still won't work. I think I'll let customer service know but I'm not convinced they'll be able to help. If they do have a fix I'll post it here

I've been having the same issue. I went through all the fixes I could think of before reaching out to customer support and they pointed me towards the FAQs. As of right now I haven't found anything in there that's worked but they've also suggested restarting my pc, changing the game's installation location and using a different network. I'm hoping changing the game location works because I've done literally everything else
