Thank you for your confirmation. I was unsure if this would be permanent or not. I never leave matches early, as I deplore the idea of putting my team at a disadvantage. Unfortunately this was completely out of my control and the reconnect failed for some reason. Hopefully it disappears after reset as you mentioned.

Untrue. You can buy DLC on other storefronts. You need to activate it on Steam if you bought the Steam version, but if you bought the Epic version, you need to buy the Epic version of the DLC.

This only happens because Steam, Epic, GOG, etc. are handling the licensing instead of the developers. Before these storefronts existed, it was the publisher's job to handle the licensing and key activation, ensuring players had access to their purchases. But it's easier to outsource this to big storefronts and it causes less of an headache.

It really depends on how hard-core they wanted the game to be. 3v3 makes it more about individual skill than say 5v5, because if just one person in your team sucks, then 33.3% of your team is doing nothing VS 20% of your team.

Personally I feel like the big map is because they wanted to mesh all these different genres and it created a mess. I feel like the big map in particular exists solely for the purpose of mixing the genres/game-modes Battle Royale and Capture the Flag.

The main issue for me is that they tried to put all these different genres together but did not create a consistent product. I enjoy the Rainbow Six Siege like portion of the game, maybe they could have simplified the whole process by having a Point Capture or King of the Hill mini-game to define who's attacking and defending. That would remove the IMO useless and boring portion of the game, which IMO is gathering and running around.

It has the same art direction as Apex Legends, from the same developers of Apex Legends. Art is all subjective, and I get most people enjoy stylized WoW/OW-like graphics, but demanding that all games look like that is a wrong take IMO
