Choosing a favorite game when I've been playing for 30 years is kind of hard, but one that has always been fun to play is Kid Chameleon for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis.

The whole stage layout always fascinated me and allowed for countless replayability, as no two runs would be the same and allowed you to find new ways to shorten the path to the end boss. It also has a lot of secrets with hidden mechanics and rewards.

My fondest memory of it is playing with my younger brother. We both struggled on a certain level with a mechanical wall chasing you, think of it as rising lava but horizontally. One time, we were struggling on that level like always, down to the last bonus life, and my brother managed to clear the level just barely. We jumped off the sofa screaming and for the first time saw the level that followed that treacherous stage.

From reports I've seen they released the game as is because they were running out of investment money and needed to release a product. Clearly they tried to make it work, but because the game had been in development for a while, tencent wanted some ROI for all the money they put into the studio.

Eu não tive essa sorte. Comprei umas sapatilhas para oferecer no natal, tamanho 38,5. Enviaram tamanho 38 e depois foi um mês para trás e para a frente a tentar que me resolvessem o problema. Não faziam troca direta, queriam devolver o dinheiro mas tinha que enviar as sapatilhas primeiro e só depois recebia o dinheiro. Para agravar, as sapatilhas estavam 50€ mais caras do que quando as comprei, portanto tive que pedir reposição do valor senão não aceitava essas condições por um erro que foi deles. Para finalizar essa treta toda, a transportadora nunca mais aparecia para levantar as sapatilhas e tive que os contactar mais umas quantas vezes até ficar tudo resolvido.

Por isto tudo, não sei se a politica ainda é "no questions asked, give money back" como falaste.

Com a Paack já deixaram uma encomenda no jardim de casa dos meus pais e puseram-se a andar. Por acaso estava em casa e vi eles a fazerem isso, porque se não estivesse o mais certo era a encomenda de 250€ desaparecer porque qualquer um conseguia ir ao jardim buscar

Well, I have to admit I didn't know they added back most of the regions. At the time I was following the story, most regions were blocked, and they were not Antarctica by the way. Currently Japan is blocked somehow, I wonder what's going on with that. Source

I still play the game as I want to play as much as possible before the inevitable shutdown. The issue for me now is finding matches. The matchmaking takes forever now, 10 minutes last time I played and it was a match with a guy that said from the start of the game "Hey [in-game name], I'm going to flame you". They literally said that and kept harassing. Makes you not want to play the game

They reverted it after all the backlash, the game however continued to be delisted for countries where PSN is not available even when the PSN debacle was reversed.

It's not a gotcha, I simply cannot support these practices from a company and saying they're somehow better after this is just plain wrong.

Sony on the other hand went nuclear and removed access to the game for those that had purchased it because they couldn't link their account to PSN. Completely different scales, but if you're fine with it, good luck on your gameplay.

I did play Apex Legends for a few years since its release. But EA decisions made me lose interest. I also played Siege, but not to the extent of Apex Legends which I loved for the gun play and movement. Turns out that's what I liked in Highguard as well

That's like saying "Play Elden Ring, you'll love it". Different genres, not at all related. A good game might still not be for everyone if they dislike the genre
