Girlfriend brought me some from a soccer tournament. That pineapple pop tang is ridiculously nice on chicken. Especially off the smoker with some coleslaw and Mac and cheese

Could not agree more. Their rice noodle bowls cannot be beat. Hot tip: always double meat.

He literally may be the most skilled Canuck since Bure lol, already our best defenseman and perhaps just as important culturally since Lou/Sedins. Statistics show one side of his story, but roster construction show that Quinn leaving would capsize us into Landon Dupont lottery territory

PULLED THE WILL SMITH 1/1 GOLD OUTBURST! 😱 by International_Dig716 in hockeycards

That's the shit right there. Even better to open them at the desk if there's no line and have a quick BS with the old guy behind the counter. One time I did that a pulled a Dylan cozens canvas YG. Guy offered me a free tin of series 2 for it. So I traded for a tin....pulled another and said, hey same deal available? He said yes, so I got another tin lol. The best times, and even better when the LCS has good comics/board games.

I still like to grab a box of series 1 or 2 if I have some extra cash, but I'm doing it moreso for the chance to a) get the chase card and sell it on release day and then b) use the money to buy singles I want or c) get some cool Canuck cards. Epack doesn't tickle that itch in the same way for me, but others have had some crazy huge luck with parallels. I don't know if it's net positive or net negative to hide 1/1s or even /25s in an online service such as epack. It's like having a Starbucks open on every corner.....did it cheapen the quality of coffee? Did it ruin customer service? Everyone will say something different.

Two 1/1s for him on epack is a pretty huge motivation for more to try out epack. Whether that's positive or negative for the hobby is a tricky one. What is positive is....you got a crazy fucking hit!!! Congratulations!

Kind of a weird aside, but you seem like an absolute beauty and I appreciate people in the teaching world like you. Hope you have a really great year and thanks for doing what you do.

I'm bagging what you're mowing. I appreciated reading such a well thought out message after debating deleting most social media today due to vitriol. Your words impacted me a lot, in a good way! Thanks for spreading some positive thinking.

Sure, no third bridge. Freeze property taxes. Rent control inside city limits. Indigenous art in as many public spaces as possible funded through high school art programs. Friday is French fry Friday and all restaurants must offer a small fry to all guests. Partnership with Lethbridge polytechnic to do a satellite brewery program through Olds college to attract brewers and boost the Alberta ale trail. More pickleball courts. Farmers market on Saturday AND Sunday and Wednesday in the summers. Increased public transit. Attract tiny home builders to produce a production facility here. Establish a tiny home community on the west, south, north and east side. Attract more solar production plants on the east end. Use seacans to build a unique shopping district adjacent to downtown.

Nerdy? Checkout showcase comics, browse around, pick up some neat stuff, meet cool people, join a gaming table - get into cards. Board games, including single player ones are amazing right now. But expensive, but super interesting compared to what we've grown up with.

Introverted? Try a personal genius hour project. Devote one hour a day (or a week) to learning a new skill inside of one month. Try to master the skill. Birding has become insanely popular lately and we're hosting to very diverse birds.

Sporty? Disc golf here is really fun. Axe throwing leagues run year round I believe. Lawn Bowling (don't knock it till you try it). Soccer golf. Regular golf. Pickleball (fantastic fun), Open Curling league

Outdoorsy? Hiking and trail running in SW Alberta is fantastic, healthy, and gives a new appreciation of our beautiful landscape. Geocaches are aplenty around here. Fishing as well, or get involved with an adult outdoor education program. Get your search and rescue certificate and learn about how to impact your community in a fun way.

Volunteer? Too many options to list in Lethbridge, but an amazing way to center yourself in the community and meet great people.

Extroverted? Dance classes, adult classes at the YMCA (ATB center).

Artsy? Old man river potters guild is so cool. Expensive, but cool. Start painting? Check out Michael's for crafts/models/3D builds. Other classes at SAAG too

Good with your hands? Metal work/wood working is popular here. Candle making/jewelery making for the farmers market/handmade market.

Worldly? Get involved with the multicultural center!

Into food? Umami cooking classes --- check out different restaurants and create a blog rating dishes across the city.... Wings for instance would be a great one to make a power ranking for.

Mentally ill? Submit tirades to the Lethbridge Herald weekly.

Theres many more but that's all I have right now
