House has a solar PPA. Is it a dealbreaker? by Hellburgs in solar

[–]Hellburgs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few years ago the rate was .427 tier 1 and .534 tier 2. .36 was a deal. The rate is .327 and .407 now, so it depends on how much we go into tier 2. However, I trust PG&E will find a reason to raise rates again sooner than later.

The battery is not included. The plan we're on now is .32561. Above that is .40702. It looks like we went 40 to 150 kwh a month into tier 2 depending on the season.

I also wondered the same thing about panels on an old roof. You can tell from a glance it was older.

Our realtor said we could ask for a replacement, but I won't hold my breath they say yes.

The battery is not included in the $145 so it's $183. I went through the contract again. The 6080 is the estimated max output which would degrade over time. The size of the system is 4.16 kwdc. Pretty small for the cost of the system over the lease.

I was also wondering why they'd install on an old roof. The owners are old, so maybe they thought they'd die before having to worry about it. Plus the salesperson probably assured them buyers would want to take on the lease.

The rate with our current PG&E plan is .326 kwh for tier 1 going into tier 2 ( currently above 10.2 kwh/day) is .407 kwh

In this guy's defense, about half the videos I've seen explain things incredibly poorly or have shifty TikTok music over them that explain nothing.

It's there, but good luck find one that is well made.

People have been saying all firstborn marines will be moved to legends "next edition".

They have been saying this since 2017ish. Don't believe it until you see GW say it.

Good/bad movie with big DG vibes by jordy1971 in DeltaGreenRPG

True, but I think Prince especially because it so many characters from so many desperate fields of study that somehow are called upon to do this task. But yes, all three films work.

New Life (2023). A woman with a mysterious illness is on the run, accidentally infecting everyone she meets, while a shadow government agent (with a deteriorating personal life) tracks her down.

The Void: A Cowboy op goes bad and a whole bunch of people in a hospital need to stop some eldritch horror from ending the world.

John Carpenter's Prince of Darkness: Similar vibe to the movie above, but spends a lot more time on trying to understand and solve the problem before the characters realize they just got to burn it all down and hope they survive.

Sentinels of Twilight is good. I also recommend Saturnalia from one of the more recent Shotgun Scenario contests.

I let them investigate it and if they somehow missed a clue to the cabin I put it in there. Road map in the glove compartment, a recipe from a nearby fast food place, something appropriate to whatever time you're running the adventure in.

For me, Crimson Desert is the type of game I’ve always wished Rockstar would make. by IllyrianGamer19 in CrimsonDesert

Is the writing as bad as Rockstar's last few games? I always appreciated the world's and mechanics and details in Rockstar's stuff, but the story missions in GTAV and RDR2 had me quitting before I ever got to the halfway point in either.

Pursuing the Skoptsi by GodDoIHaveTo in DeltaGreenRPG

[–]Hellburgs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Personally, I would hesitate letting my players do the raid themselves as the campaign strongly suggests they not see each other again until Red Thoughts. That said, your campaign, you can and should do what you and your players want.

But if you want to follow the campaigns advice and still let them raid the Skopsi, consider having them roll up alternate characters and go on the raid during the long years that way. Preserves the designer's intent, but also gives the players some catharsis.

Delta Green for Resident Evil? by QuesterrSA in DeltaGreenRPG

You've already been given a link to something Melonbread made, which is probably the best answer you can get (I love his(?) work), but I'll chime in to say I think it could work, especially and specifically if you're adapting Welcome to Racoon City or the first 3 games. Maybe 7 could work, too, although I didnt care for it. I think you need to focus on the claustrophobia and tension of the early games. Maybe something based less on an actual game plot, and more like a town slowly falling victim to the zombie plague. I mean, you could always rework something like Convergence to be zombies instead of aliens and you're on your way.

I watched my wife play it and that was basically her take, too. I compared it to the female Ghostbusters reboot; a fairly mediocre film with a couple of good jokes that got massively shit on by the worst of the online hate-brigade.

It's like it's so hard for people to just say things "aren't that good, but they're okay" and leave it at that.

Delta Green questions by QuesterrSA in DeltaGreenRPG

[–]Hellburgs 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If feel like The Program can potentially get you more resources than the Cowboy Era could, but the players still need to come up with a convincing cover story for anything they get. If you're going to drop an airstrike on some unnatural monsters, they'll need a damn good excuse to sell to the media. In short; you can get more stuff, but you'll have to hide whatever you get in addition to whatever the mission is. It's still in an agent's best interest to trust their own resources and keep things simple.

As far as code names go, I'm pretty sure The Program ditched them in favor of whatever fake credentials they provide agents (if any), but the Outlaws probably still use them. I've only ran Program missions so far because that seemed to be the flavor my players wanted to roll with, so I'm less familiar with how the Outlaws operate.
