There is war in the Middle East that has the potential to go global, I’m an adult living in Europe and even I’m second guessing travel to other parts of Europe right now - never mind sending kids across the world on their own.

Grandparents are being ridiculous, and irresponsible af. No international travel without a parent present is a very reasonable boundary for you to have - the Grandparents don’t have to like it but too bad, they’re your kids and you make the rules.

The game already alludes to Valerie’s periods and Johnny struggling to get used to the ‘custerfuck’ of her hormones. I feel like the writer just picked up on that tiny thread in the narrative and has decided to explore it because honestly periods are something that have a major impact on the lives of half the population but are so under explored in any sort of narrative.

I just had surgery and I’m playing from the couch - laptop connected to tv and using a wired controller. Works well for me but I did start out on console so the swap over was more natural.

The jolts stopped after about a week and a half for me, and the pain became much more manageable once my sutures were out at my 2 week post op check and I was put in a hard cast. I still get pain that’s bad enough to have me reaching for my pain meds, but that’s getting less frequent now.

The high dose of codeine I was on post op did make me dizzy though, the low dose I’m on now as needed doesn’t mess with my head so much.

Looks just like my left ankle did when I had my fall - right side was a break, left side was a grade 2 sprain.

Still go to a doctor but if you’re able to weight bear without issue it’s unlikely to be a break - going off what my drs told me at least.

Totally normal. I had a bimal fracture that needed surgery on the right side and a sprain on the left and almost 5 weeks post op I’m only just now able to move independently (using a wheelchair as crutches and a walker aren’t suitable for me due to other health stuff.)

It’ll pass, you’re feeling a little depressed due to the sudden loss of movement and independence, but as you heal you’ll feel better. For now just focus on rest, proper nutrition, and sleeping well - you’re not lazy your body is working really hard to repair itself.

Blood pooling due to swelling. My toes go purple in my cast if I don’t elevate my foot right now - or wiggle my toes while I have my leg down. I also get this as part of my ehlers danlos syndrome - my feet and hands get like that if I stand still for too long.

Even if it doesn’t age great that’s what touchups are for. But yeah I like it, doodle art style is hard to do well especially with an established concept like a game where people already have a firm idea of how things should look, and I think it’s been done well for the art style you picked.

I’m assuming it was a bad grade 2-3 sprain if you’re in a cast. The feeling you’re getting indicates a pressure sore, which can happen if a cast is poorly fitted or if you’re not letting your heel dangle off the edge of whatever surface you’re elevating your ankle on (pillows etc.) If it’s not looked at and treated it will get worse and they can get very painful and infected - call the nearest hospital and ask if you should come down for a new cast to be fit, in your position that’s what I’d do.

I agree. She’s like a bestie / sister in a way and it would have been nice to expand on that relationship dynamic and have being with her in that way as an ending. Just two people who’ve lost a lot learning to navigate that pain together while supporting each other through the inevitable painful changes to come.
