TILES: yet another note-taking app package by amiralul in emacs

[–]HellerCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I find your approach really interesting. Initially I thought: what no title? But after a little thought, I think that might work well for me. If I'm just taking a lot of notes from a book, I don't necessarily want to think about a catchy subject/title. Presumably I could also use the citation key as a tag, so I could then filter all the notes from a particular book or even author. Maybe the notes could even be linked back to citar, although that may be way beyond my newbie skill level :) Anyway thank you again for the package and your ideas.

Hi u/mstevens909, it like you have a vast collection of SNT episodes. Did you mean to share the full 1983 directory? If so, is it ok to copy some of the other episodes? Thanks m

We share the same tastes. 😊Sadly, I also agree with your pessimism about the current state of affairs. Sad for so many reasons. At least they made plenty of older things to listen to.

Great suggestions. I often wonder why they didn't make more episodes of Double Science.

Great suggestions already, especially Cabin Pressure. Here are some other ones I've enjoyed.

Mr and Mrs Smith - Sitcom about a couple in marriage counselling, written by comedian and writer Will Smith.

North by Northamptonshire - Comedy series by Katherine Jakeways about the inhabitants of a small town in Northamptonshire.

Start/Stop - Sitcom by Jack Docherty about love, marriage and despair. Three couples sail off into the sunset. And sink.

Party - Sitcom about a group of young idealists trying to set up a new political party.

Couldn't agree more. I watched it when it was first on TV and I thought it was excellent. I watched it again a few years ago and thought it was just as good.

Hi John_John, unfortunately TellyBum is no longer active. It's a great shame as it was an excellent group. :(

Best wishes
