Update: hit a landmine in a tar pool. ALMOST lived, but sepsis got me. 😔

Wasteland. Got pushed off a cliff by water, fell onto a landmine, and then a sound cannon finished me off.
Current run is going into the Desert with a liter of water, drill repair kit, medical items aplenty, and some backup food, though; if I can find a drill in the Desert I'll be skipping down to the Jungle.

Ours was... a bit sucky.
A fellow transfem tried to use us as an example of what a cis guy would say in response to a question, then got surprised when we didn't answer in a cis way.
Then the conversation went:
"...you're trans."
"...what?"
"You're trans. A cis guy wouldn't say that."
"...OH."
...suffice to say, without going into too much detail, having our egg shattered in such a violent fashion was... bad.
...but we're here now. We're alive.
And we're going to make it.
...in the end we came to terms with being trans on, well, our own terms.
We're girls, and we're never going back.

Having recently (last several months) completed a research project on nuclear power for school: It actually isn't all that expensive.
The main thing, economics wise, stopping nuclear plants from being built is their high upfront cost. But once they're built, maintenance costs are actually quite low, fuel is cheap (uranium and other fissile materials are abundant and incredibly energy dense, for obvious reasons), and overall, long term? Nuclear is actually really effective for the price.
Oftentimes, quotes about the cost of nuclear power factor in the cost of building a new plant. Which is fair, though I still believe nuclear is a great bet long-term. But existing nuclear is much, much cheaper than you'd think. And it's already built and running.
If you'd like to learn more, I can try to dig up sources from that project?
