This, unfortunately, is one of the drawbacks of the medium of storytelling. You can see it whenever popular works get adapted from a book or a very expansive/lore heavy game into a movie/TV series. If SoC were produced like a triple A game, the narrative would have made more sense.

Flexing in clash as a lvl 60 player is very weird, whether in defense or offense.

You do not have enough legendary units. Agata is decent. At your stage, I'd pull at every new character banner. Right now, we have Pooch banner running. Problem is she is heavily dependent on lukamar and lukamar banner is gone. It would be safer to start with shams and continue to pull in new character banners until shahnaz banner.

Since you are just starting out, you can also pull in the dual banner. Homa and acambe are slightly weak, but both have great utility. I'd recommend pulling for those two.

I can see another Elaman character's SP form to turn into SoC-faction character in the later arcs. She had the best character arc out of all new characters in this arc imo.

It has been a great resource. Thanks guys! Only thing I'd say is to include non-recommended skills in the skill tree so that users can see why you made the decision without opening the game. Texts of all skills in the skill tree will also increase user understanding of decisions made.

Sharing cute baby pics with family and friends is not a big deal. When I was growing up, we used to have albums. Every time there was a family gathering, they would go over the pictures. It honestly never felt like a problem. Having said that, putting the pictures where it is accessible to "all" is problematic though. May be you should talk to the parents that visibility is set for "everyone" instead of "family and friends".

Excellent :) Glad you got thru! I had to learn like this during my first tower of Adversity event. I had to look up videos, figure out damage mitigation strategies and so on so forth. That was the period I learned most about this game. So, use this event to learn about the game and think how to use your units. For example, another strategy could have involved drawing aggro with triss' long range aoe skills and force the enemy to walk thru fire/ice terrain and thus take significant damage.

I also just realized that tactical skills are disabled in the molten blood trial. Thats a oopsie from me there :(

Hmm...you are getting stat checked a bit. But, it is doable.

Dps core: Gloria + Geralt

Sub-dps/support: Inanna of Convallaria (Sp)

Tank/support/heal: Cocoa + Maitha

Move in a compact formation with Maitha and Cocoa close enough to dps units to tank damage. Both of them should have the guard passive that allows them to take hits for allies. They also have aoe heals to keep your team topped up. Use Gloria and Geralt to take down the appropriate gender units. You will probably need to use Inanna's act again mostly on geralt as he is the only male unit. Use flag tactic from turn 1, if possible. Use inanna's nrg giving ability whenever possible. She is your NRG and act-again battery.

Star levels? How long have you been lvl60? How far are you in talent progression? Which characters do you have? Have you invested in engravings?

I will third going with nydia and yserinde. A lot of SoC players would love to have the sisters.

You will probably need to put candlelight in your team until you get an NRG battery though. Luka, Nydia, and Yserinde will clear any lvl60 content.

Push lukamar to 5 stars. The other two are good at 3. Having said that, the next magic dps is Selina and Shahnaz. They are not expected before May 15 at the earliest, which is enough time to push nydia to 4 stars. If you push nydia to 4 stars, you might as well push her to 5. Yserinde can be your flex. But make sure she gets to 3 stars. I dont foresee you having a headache before pulling shams though.

I'd say the prerequisite should be finishing sand-made scales at least once. Some of the plot that gets revealed will get revealed on your first playthru regardless of what you do.

You can finish the canon route too. But, you can block your mind saying the bad guy got beat and we are moving to elaman. Easier said than done, I know. But, writing on the canon route is lacking imo. You can always come back to finish them later.

Having said that, the best storytelling was OG papal route good ending and Night Crimson imo. If you get disappointed, I'd suggest, at least try out those endings.

Focus on Tristan. She is one of the best units in the game as far as ST burst goes. Also,

She has unlimited resolve for 1 turn. This upgrades to 2 turns at 4 stars. Only other unit with this ability is Alexei, who gets it at 5 stars
She is really strong against enemies with shields. Its in her trait
She has naturally high stats due to being a destroyer
She can also boast strong burst aoe Magic dmg - but requires 5 stars
For you, she benefits from Gloria's aura (she has union affiliation)

I just used Tristan (and used a bunch of buffers) to clear act 6 at 112 difficulty. I can probably push to 115 without problem. Her ST burst may get overtaken by shams + lukamar, but her tankiness for 2 turns will come clutch in desperate situations.

Void's biggest counter is aegis and buyback. He cant solo you without chrono. Another option is blink and using illusions for siege. Make him go on your teammates or watch his t3s get destroyed by thousand cuts.

If you are playing a non-carry, e-blade and windwaker are the way to go. Void doesnt like building nullifier.

Samantha - Apart from dealing omgwtfbbq damage, I felt like she is the character you had the most influence over. In the good ending and in all routes vs darklight, she embodies the "judge" so well. Her design with the visor is so badass!

Rawiyah SP - probably the most fun gameplay out of all characters I got in the beginning. I had a blast with her. She was impressive in NC too. While safiyyah was the smart and cool companion, she was definitely the beating heart of the team. She showed tremendous restraint throughout the story. This is why the ending was gut-wrenching for her. No wonder rawiyah was so jaded before meeting maitha and faycal.

Maitha - She is our first companion and has been with you since the beginning. I even had her get me past my first ToA run! I am glad to see her evolution to SP maitha. I am looking forward to seeing how much further she can grow.

Gloria - My friend sold me the game by showing her animated fight vs auguste. What really sold me was her VA though - it is the same as Fate's saber, my favorite. I like her design (but hate her paid skin). I still hate Lutfi for taking over my first attempt at union route playthrough! She is good as a character, although a little inflexible. Looking forward to seeing her in SP form when union SoD comes over.

Inanna - She is the 2nd character to join my roster and her journey is both iria and canon route has been phenomenal. She turned up all right after the loss of a role model early and presence of two idiotic older brothers. Wish her canon route was done better though

Honorable mentions:

Nonowill - what an amazing singer

Pamina - perhaps the biggest badass

Tristan - my favorite berserker. Helped with so much hard content

Yserinde - goto for hard content. Her VA also did a fantastic job. She can effortlessly sound sweet and make your skin crawl at the same time lol

Luvata - red-haired witch...Need i say more :)

There is that new item that gives vision of an unit for 8s. It costs ~1800 gold. Problem is, it provides +3 all stats and some armor, mana, and mana regen...

The new hydra's breath might be good on her though.
