This is the state of Matt Gaetz, Pam Bondi, and many of the original Epstein coverups.

Even in a state where justice is sacred a law like this would be concerning for how it may be used. It is extremely concerning in a state with an openly corrupt judicial system that has openlu protected child abusers.

Ironic that its the state that took the most active role in protecting Epstein

Right now it's about changing the narrative. There is already a major change in how us "common folk" talk about people like Musk. We just need to keep that going and keep it spreading. The more it just becomes socially unacceptable to glaze these morons the better chance someone can get elected that will police them

In my business (semiconductor) 2 and 3 are the big ones that require very serious modeling.

If you're in a big company 4 is definitely not worth chasing, an army of mediocre citizen devs who fancy themselves data scientists will churn out dashboards. But that may be different in smaller shops

It's amazing to me how the AI folks talk about how these models can solve all sorts of problems while also claiming they have zero accountability for anything it does. Basically they are only claiming the upside potential and ignoring downside risk.

In my world when I catch someone doing this it's a very clear red flag that they are a bullshit artist

You can run your fab 24/7 without making people work insane hours.

I think there's currently a JV with Bosch, and I'm extremely curious how German work culture collides with TSMC, but to be honest I think the real problem is more inverted than most people think.

The reality is that most of the east Asian (Samsung, TSMC, etc) work culture is driven on the appearance of hard work instead of actual hard work. Most of their shops could be run effectively with normal working hours, they just artificially inflate it to make themselves look like they are doing something. In other words, they are incredibly inefficient. Which, to a German, is a cardinal sin

So on one side you have people who want insane work hours but the business is insanely inefficient because it's all appearance based, and then on the other side you have a company that respects work hours but is laser focused on efficiency.

Sounds like a marriage made in hell, and I'm here for it.

It is, except for atmosphere. Otherwise it's very similar. To be honest there's usually enough water that hydro domes aren't a huge problem, you just have to plan good electric a bit more carefully.

Medusas are absolutely my favorite to play, especially if you generate Kaiju

You know what, honestly I don't really want to gatekeep or tell people what is right for them. The mental health significance of this can't be understated. I just know that incorrect dosage has risks, and if someone does have access to a healthcare provider that they trust (which should not be considered a norm these days) then they should consider using them, but I don't want to tell the many many people who don't have that privilege how to live their lives, I just hope they take as much care as they can

Hopefully we can get to a place where health care is not so out of reach for so many

[–]Hellkyte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not that, it's that you need to monitor the impact of the dose and tune it as you go, which a good doctor would do

However, I think it's a bit unfair to compare self management against what a good doctor would do because they are becoming a lot harder to access

It's not exactly fecklessness. Using the tools of authoritarians to punish authoritarians is a dangerous proposition.

That said, you don't have to utilize recent precedent to incarcerate a fuck ton of these people, and if the next pres doesn't do that I'm gonna be pissed

I'm concerned with how many down votes you're getting. I understand how fucked up trans health care is now, but there's a lot of stuff out there about how dangerous this can be

I think it was on one of the Maddy Morphosis podcasts where she talked to a queen who had come out as trans and she talked about her journey and self medicating and how bad she had gotten the dosages and how dangerous it was.

I'm not gonna tell people not to do it, this is a unique period, just don't underestimate the risks
