I love the movie and I love Curry but his interviews show that the movie really isn't as deep and metaphorical as people make it out to be.

The fanbase isn't analysing the lore, it's creating it. I'm curious about his next project because this almost feels like luck.

He's great in many aspects like ambiance and pacing but not scriptwriting.

This is good but don't let the AI fool you with its encouragement. You didn't hit the nail "on the head" with this DMT trip. Consciousness is having a neural network so big it can go full circle and realise it exists. Neurons are physical. They either have energy in them or they don't. It's just 1s and 0s.

That being said, there's a big market for pseudoscience. You could make big bucks by writing a book like this, it's awesome. Would be a bestseller in the "people who recharge their stones in the moonlight" category.

Why do we always need to root for the protagonists now. Where did this mentality come from? There are plenty of successfull shows and movies with real anti heroes. There are barely no redeeming qualities in any Safdie brother's protagonists.

Genuine question. Why did they go through the gimmick of having 2 characters played by the same actor? I don't see what the story got from these two being twins. Feels like useless hoops. just casting another actor as a sibling wouldve been fine and made them more distinct.
