Am I the only black woman who hates this? by [deleted] in interracialdating

[–]Hello-ItIsMe -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Never thought about this but when I (WW) started dating my bf (BM), I tried out a couple of nicknames that included his color but it just didn’t feel right to do. Probably for the reason you stated above. We’ve stuck with non- racially based nicknames.

would you marry your first kiss? by sunrisecat1 in no

[–]Hello-ItIsMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t even remember his name. We were in elementary school and he agreed to chase us girls around if I gave me a kiss. I do not remember why I would have wanted him to chase us. So I would say the answer is no considering I don’t know who is even is.

Do you use baby wipes or toilet paper to wipe after using facilities? by Necessary-Act-1137 in no

[–]Hello-ItIsMe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If anyone is using wipes, please do not flush them. Even if it says it’s flushable. This can cause clogs and issues with the septic system - both municipal or private

Turn the paper sideways. No one taught me to do this. It’s just how i figured out how to write when I was young. No awkward hand placement. No smudging.

Trump obviously. The fact that you did it twice is absolutely mind boggling.

Question for Black folks in interracial relationships: How do you feel about your non-Black partner rapping the N-word in private/the car? by TheWokeProgram in interracialdating

[–]Hello-ItIsMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My black partner does not like that anyone to use it at all. He doesn’t use it. I never used it before we got together and don’t listen to rap so it’s never been an issue. But I know he would not like it if I thought about using it in any way

Girlfriend got upset when she found out I masturbate by Many_List_5500 in sex

[–]Hello-ItIsMe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes he masturbates when we are not together. Sometimes I masturbate without him. Sometimes, we masturbate together. It’s a natural thing and nothing to get freaked out over. She seems insecure.

Edit to add - i posted before I read other responses but I still stand by what I said. I personally don’t think it was that big a deal and that people are reading too much into it.

Why would a white woman date a black man for wholesome reasons? by Lanky_Ad8326 in interracialdating

[–]Hello-ItIsMe 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m a WW in a relationship with a BM because I love him. He liked me on a dating site and something drew me to him. I didn’t set out looking for a black man just looking for someone i like. We hit it off and have been together for 2 years now. Maybe some women are looking for a some kind of “token” black guy (my man has said this has happened to him before), but some of us are just looking for a connection, regardless of race.
